First video:

Middle video:

Last video (so far - I have an unreleased video hanging around - it's not orgable though)
PM me if you wanna see a beta, but I have plans to go over it again anyway:

Don't really have a favorite of this year O.o

What I learned:
People don't get my silliness, and they think it ruins some kind of mood that I was not attempting to create.
I suck at upbeat apparently.

Plans to improve:
I really don't know, there's nothing really that strikes me as something that stands out that I want to work on. I'm pretty rusty so maybe I'll just improve on everything.

Person above me:
ZephyrStar keep making videos please? I really enjoy them O:

Resolution:
I want my editing style to become a little more versatile. I plan on doing this by making a few action videos, a few trailers, a technical/ effect video, and a couple more fun/ upbeat videos.

In addition to expanding my editing ability, I also would like to win a few particular awards. I'd love to win Otakon's sentimental award with a Disney AMV again. I'd also like to win and AWA Pro award. And I'd be fine with just having a submission ready for Akross next year.

What I learned:

I learned how to properly edit scripts in Sony Vegas.

a few people above me:
Shin: You really had an amazing year. You just kept pumping out one great video after another. You're acually my #1 pick for editor of the year.

Code: You are without a doubt the best MEP/ project coordinator that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The way that you organize and show a genuine interest and dedication to the projects that you're involved in is actually the driving factor behind the success of all all of them. I eagerly look forward to all the projects that you have planned for next year.

JaddziaDax: Right-Hand Girlfriend is definitely one of my favorite romance videos of the year. I smile whenever I watch it, and it was a great addition to the Valentines Day MEP. Also, it was the AMV that got me to watch Midori Days.

To all the sickeningly amazing editors here:
Spoiler :
Shin - You're editing just straight up makes me jealous. :| You've quickly become one of my favorite editors.
Code - You're such a good editor, but I really admire the fact that you're so versatile, what with your new interviews, journals, and your ability to give critique that's actually constructive. Keep it up, you're someone to be looked up to in all areas. :)
Bashar - I admire your amvs so much, and have for a long time. Legacy is one of my favorites, as I'm such a sucker for trailers. Keep making amvs for a long time, please.
ngsilver - I don't mind so much that you've only released one video this year -- quality over quantity, you know. And your videos are true quality.
diegao - I'm a huge sucker for raw-ish editing, since that's just how I edit too. Enymus is a great, simple video, and I'll never get sick of it. I want to see more of your videos in the future. (:
Ashy - God I love everything you edit. You have so few amvs, so I always wonder when you're going to release something, but when you do I'm never disappointed. I look up to you a lot.
ReggieSmalls - You're literally the most original editor I've ever seen. You've also improved so much in such a small amount of time, it's astounding. And the funny thing is, you were never bad to begin with. You're just... talent. :/
Nya-chan - I can never predict what you will make next. You're such an original editor as well, it's mind-boggling. You've touched nearly every genre of amv, it's really cool. Just keep editing, k?
JudgeHolden - Whenever I see you've edited something, I get sickeningly happy. Your videos are so admirable. They just vomit "I'm good."
ZephyrStar - It's quite obvious there are many talented editors, but just going through everyone in this thread one by one and really analyzing it makes me sick. Then I get to you, and it just... bklwqatjalg. I don't even know what to say to you. I can't even look at your pixelated username.
JaddziaDax - You've been editing for so long, and you are always improving. I probably plateaued a year after editing, and here you are... gosh. I love It Goes so much. All of your videos just have a very polished feel to them, I love it.
kireblue - ugh. The Oz Network? Summer Wars? Kazuma? A trailer? It's like my wet dream (sorry.) I just adore your videos. You're another one of those editors that just always crap out amazing stuff. :(
As for me:

My first video this year and my absolute favorite, out of the last few years.
Actually, it's sort of a lie. This small little thing I edited a few days before, but I don't consider it a full amv. The first one is full by my standards, haha.

The last one I made this year.
I'm currently in the Lady Gaga MEP, so that will probably be the last one that I started this year, but not finished.

Resolutions:
I'm one of those people that tend to hate everything they make, so...
I hope by next year I can make something that I like.
I'm also thinking of entering a convention. I just hope I can actually make one of the videos how I imagine it.

As for what I learned:
Nothing I can recall. I seem to have plateaued ):

Favourite: Gay Means Happy

What I learned: I feel I'm a bit better with masking and started experimenting with them in transitions. Made huge improvements in my lipsynching skills. Learned how to use some of the effects a bit better. Oooh, and I found out that I'm terrible at ICs

Needs work: Using text. Choosing fonts and colors is a nightmare for me. Color correction is kinda difficult too, can't seem to get the final look that I need. Also, learn to be more creative when using transitions.

Shin: I have no idea how you manage to edit as many awesome videos during one single year. I'm beginning to suspect you're actually more than one person...
Code: Kudos for making so much for the community. It just wouldn't be the same without you.
Bashar: Thanks for helping me prove Acen is truly Gaycen :D
Nya: Always there to help with editing software and/or running various org related events. Thanks for that!
Zephyr: Make moar ponies! And that Anthology intro was amazing.

My favorite:

Kind of an off year for me. Almost all the videos I made were only because of Project OrgEditor. I've had a list of AMVs I've wanted to make that I just didn't do because of one excuse or another, it's kinda disappointing. So for next year, I want to make some headway with those video ideas, at least one of which is particularly ambitious (for me, anyway.).

Additionally, I want to try to contribute more to AMV announcements, to new videos, maybe do more free OPs threads. I did some of that, and I watch a lot of videos, I just don't comment as much as I should.

Also, somewhat related to AMVs, I want to make it to NDK this year.

Person above me:
Kosmit, it seems like only yesterday you were releasing your first video. It didn't take you very long to get great at editing, did it? And not being that good at ICing is not really that important, I wouldn't worry about it. :p

Well 2011 AMV-wise was a huge let down, and that's putting it lightly. I didn't release a single video this year and the video I really wanted to do fell apart but I think I learned a pretty good lesson from that failure. I guess the only positive is that I was finally able to get my hands on CS5 so...yea. In 2012 I hope to bounce back and in the next few days or so, I'll be starting on another vid. I want to continue to learn the ins and outs of AE,Premiere and Photoshop and try and integrate that stuff into whatever I make and maybe dabble with Painter. I also should try to participate more in the community. I keep saying that every year and I usually just stay in my cave anyway, but maybe this year will be different...

To Ileia:
You're one of the editors who makes me ashamed to even watch my stuff after seeing one of your videos. Keep churning out that good stuff and good luck to you in the Doomsday year.

First AMV:

Last AMV:

Favorite:

At the Moment, my first one because I love School Days and no matter how much I want to change it, I think, for me, its perfect just the way it is. :3

What I learned:
I learned sooooo much from here: Lip-synching (Which I still suck at xP), Concept, Colors, Beat Synch, Flow, Emotional Synch, Aspect Ratio, Containers, masking (My mortal Enemy) and that there are so many AMVs to watch! xD I really love all the AMVs here and I feel very privileged to be here with you guys! :P

AMV Resolution:
I wish to work with After Effects more in my editing rather than just avoid putting After Effects in my AMVs :P
Also, I want to join more competitions so I can has more fun :D Hopefully the Project Org Editor even though I'm probably going to crash and burn

To some of the editors above me:
Spoiler :
***Shin: *_* Everyone has said it, but you are a friggin' machine at making AMVs, I honestly can't believe how you can do it. Keep At It Shin! Also, great idea making this thread! :D
***CodeZTM: Dude, you know I love your AMVs, they're so sick! GTFO is probably one of my most favorite AMVs ever! xD Not to mention, you do so much to make this community feel so much more like a family and that's one of the things I appreciate about you for because you always seem to go that extra mile to make this place feel more like a family. :D
***Nya-Chan: Your AMVs are cute and frilly, so I'm mostly glad you made "Don't Be Afraid to Join" because that AMV makes me super happy on a bad day :P
***Taite: I think that's the dream of many editors is to make something nearly exact as how they imagine it. But, seriously, I hope there's something you'll make that you'll like one day. It'll happen :shark:
***Ileia: Even though everyone enjoys Zomboleo, my favorite for certain is "Where I Am Now". I'm quite glad (and depressed xD) that I went on a tangent about being your rival because I was able to motivate myself to be a much better AMV editor which is a plus because you were able to put up with my crappy attitude and teach me a very valuable lesson about AMV editing. Happy New Years :dino:
***Machina21: Every year is different, so next year, I hope that'll be way better. Have some  It might help you out :P
Mainly this year, I'm very glad that I was talked into making AMVs because I have a lot of fun just talking with you guys :D Not to mention, Making AMVs is much more fun than just showing off all the awesome AMVs everyone else has made. Yet, I still have fun being an AMV DJ (Beside the point). Happy New Years Everyone!!! :D

To all the posters so far a big <3!

CodeZTM: You make the community feel like a community with all your journaling/commenting/critiquing and now interviews/editorials. Keep it up and thanks a bazillion for all the effort.
BasharOfTheAges: Service entry in the Rear made me laugh and you're never afraid to call out anyone who needs calling out. Right now there is a pretty good chance I'll be anime boston for dissecting. lol
ngsilver: podcasts/livestreams are really fun to watch. keep up the good work.
Diegao94: Enjoying the process of editing is always the most important part so props for that.
Chained(E)Studio: I remember watching a[part] and enjoying it a lot and was looking forward to seeing more from you, and enjoyed your parts in the MEPs, but hopefully you can get a complete AMV out sometime in 2012. :)
ReggieSmalls: You make a lot of quality stuff to music that would be quite daunting to a lot of editors. Major  for that.
Nya-chan Production: I really liked your Don't be Afraid to Join video, and great job on organizing the JCA stuff. :)
JudgeHolden: Disco Heaven is epic fun and greatly underrated/underappreciated. Keep up the fun.
ZephyrStar: Was fun meeting you at AWA. And while I may not be a brony I still dug the Ponies Anthology.
JaddziaDax: Your videos give off a vibe that you put a lot of heart and enjoyment into them which gives that extra sense of enjoyableness to them.
kireblue: You're really consistent in putting out enjoyable and fun stuff. Really loved Maya and Company.
Taite: Your ability to put together quality stuff in a time frame of 3 hours to a day makes me jealous O:
Kosmit: Your comedy vids are always hilarious. Gutbustingly so! Keep making us all laugh in 2012
Ileia: Your internal syncing, beat syncing, and scene selection always make me drool. Really dug Where I am Now and Don't Brake. Keep up the creativity and awesomeness.
machina21: Looking forward to seeing a new video after a long hiatus.
lloyd9988: You have a great passion for AMVs and your videos convey that passion you have for them. Keep it up, and keep on making them.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. :)

The majority of my editing was for MEPs, so I'll just post my contributions to those as well ;)

First:
Iron Chef Idol 4 Final Track

Middle:
PONIES The Anthology (my contributions)

Last:
Party Animal (A Tribute to Pinkie Pie)

Favorite:
Party Animal (A Tribute to Pinkie Pie)

What I learned:
*I have done more editing in this last year than I have in any other year.
*Finally learned masking
*Dabbled in making comedy videos for the first time (and loved it XD)
*Seeing audience reactions to your own videos is the most inspiring thing ever XD

Plans for improvement/2012 resolutions:
*Learn to stay more focused and finish my videos sooner
*Learn After Effects
*Learn to properly lip sync
*Complete my two videos still in the works
*Finish my two in-progress videos, Aisling and Mihan
*Go all out on PONIES The Anthology II

People above me:
ShinAMV: You did an awesome job this year! Keep it up!

CodeZTM: Thanks for beta testing for me earlier this year! I promise I'll have more to show soon! ^^;

ngsilver: Thanks for having me on TWIAMVs! I had a great time whenever I was on! Also thanks for spotlighting my Party Animal video at Youmacon!

ReggieSmalls: You da man, Reggie! Seriously, you had a great year for videos! You're an awesome editor and a truly great friend! Thanks for cheering me on when I needed it the most, bud ^^

Nya-Chan: .........uh, hi! :uhoh: *runs away before Nya-Chan sets me on fire again*

JudgeHolden: I always look forward to new videos from you, Judge. All three of your amvs were a blast and totally underrated. I hope you get something at the VCA/JCAs this time. Thanks for all your advice when I was just starting out!

ZephyrStar: Dude, I had a blast working on the Anthology with you and the guys! Thanks so much for all your encouragement and support last summer and also for recording the audience reaction for my video at AWA. It meant a lot to me knowing I had good friends like you cheering me on. Can't wait until we knock Anthology II out of the park! ;)

Jaddziadax: hai! *waves*

Ileia: Thanks for inviting me to be a part of CDVV! You guys are a lot of fun and you all helped me remember how much fun editing is. ^^ Also thanks for your encouragement and support last summer and for the trophy you and Todd made for me at AWA! I love that thing! XD
