Well...that was partly what I expected and partly not. You had some great scene selection for bits of the song where I thought "perfect" but then all of a sudden you'd have this really awkward scene that just doesn't fit and kinda destroys the feeling it had built up previously.

Basically the whole AMV was a mix. Sometimes I felt you nailed it but sometimes it just failed miserably. To be honest, I reckon it was more of a source problem. I felt like Air, Clannad and Ah My Goddess where the best fits whereas the True Tears,Toradora and Inuyasha ones were kinda...meh. I did like the one of Inuyasha at the start but the rest just didn't go that well.

Not bad for a try though. :up: I had somehow imagined this song to be a little difficult to edit.

The biggest problem I think the video had was that it tried to fit way too many anime into this. More importantly, you tried to fit way too many overused opening scenes from anime.

You know what I did like? When you focused on one anime and really tried to bring together their concept for longer than just a few seconds. Like at :08-16. Or :34-:38, or :43-:48 THAT was going somewhere. It was setting up the dramatic tension for the story that could have unfolded. But they'd get inturrpted with another anime scene, essentially stopping the lyric sync and the lovely little scenery playing in my head.

Or, conversely, had you focused on displaying these "paradises" more, you might have gotten a nice video via that.

Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this, but the visual quality is in need of some work. Kaleido Star was really enlarged, and some of the scenes had black borders around them. I've definitely seen worse though, so don't feel too bad about it. It's just something to improve upon next time.

Keep it up though. You had some good scenes in there, you just need to stay consistent with it! :up:

@AimoAio:
first of all thank you for your opinion, it's priceless to me to know what is wrong and what is right with my creation
second: yes, i kinda felt the same every time i watch it, maybe if I will use just Air , Ah My GOddess and Clannad , it would fit better AND the little "paradise " story will be narrated better.

usually, the opening scenes have some very very cute scenes that you won't see in the episode , for example Ah My Goddess.

Well you said the same thing as AimoAio said so it must be true; And as I said before, maybe if i would use more from some animes and elimiate the others, and keep some scenes longer, maybe the AMV will get cool.

I thought this was pretty nice, however throughout the AMV I just felt that you used way too many anime; also mostly because you used a lot of OPs which made for random scenes. I'm not saying it was all random, but just a good number of it was.
Alongside this I would've liked to have seen a ton more transitions rather than hard cuts to the next clip. Its not a hard hitting beat-heavy song, so it kind of has that flowy element to it, y'know? More fade transitions might have looked nice.
Also I didn't know if you were going to edit a little differently for when the song had less instrumentals and more vocals, or when it went to the chorus (which is immediately so much different than the previous verses) and all that, and while you didn't so much, it worked for some moments. Maybe focus on timing a little bit more next time.
