Laptop is dead. More or less. "Permanently out of commission" would probably be a better description. It needs a replacement graphics card, which wasn't a possibility a few years ago when it needed it (model is too old and incompatible with just about everything), and it obviously isn't possible now either.

I was able to start it up in Safe Mode and transfer all of my files over to the external hard drive. I do have a desktop computer to use, which is what I'm on now, but it's a bit old and kind of "special needs" in its functionality. Still, it's an okay replacement... but I miss my laptop already.

As I parked my car in front of my friend's place to film stuff earlier today, I saw this teenage couple tie up this dog by the leash to a tree and they drove off, ditching the poor thing.

Luckily, the workers at a nearby subway immediately went to the dog and started making some phone calls to the authorities from what I heard.

When I was walking by, the dog had this "are they gonna come back for me?" look.

Stupid teenage punks leaving a poor innocent dog alone makes me SO MAD. How can they live with themselves after doing this?

Meanwhile, in my own little world, I signed up for my tax CPE course.. I'm slightly nervous, since I don't know what to expect, but I need to get a lot of info, since I'm one of 3 people doing ALL the taxes in our office this season.

Brother trying to upload a huge video to youtube... Internet bandwidth is screaming in agony. I asked him if he compressed the video and he said "I exported it from windows movie maker, so its compressed".

It's sad when I prefer going to work than staying at home or going to classes. I hate classes so much, and the people I live with are irritating......

Thank God for the upcoming overtime.
