I've always enjoyed this song. Nothing too deep here, but it's got it's differences if you pick up on it.

Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Good job

I effin' love this song. <3

Ok, so I kind of imagined this as a silent movie playing in a theatre, with the music as the backdrop. So a "silent" music video? :uhoh:

I'm so used to different types of 5 CM videos, that this one really took me by surprise. It was "new" in the sense that you used an unconventional song/effect, so major kudos for making 5CM fresh for me again. Even though the "meat" of the AMV is similar to a lot of other 5 CM videos. XD

I really liked the grainy/film effect. It was subtle enough that it wasn't overkill, but still enetertaining enough to get its point across.

This was a really well executed old-timey romance video. Highest approval.

[Although I thought I'd never get the image of Fallout 3 in my head while watching it. :ying: ]

I didn't like the overlay effect, but that's about it.

That was really cool (and different) man, sorry for taking so long to get to it :P

I really enjoyed the visuals, the filtering was actually pretty appropriate. The only thing that actually irked me with editing was some of the jump cuts - sometimes they were oddly sudden where the rest of the video was rather slow. I suppose given the 'old film' impression here, that's fair enough.

Otherwise, I kind of wish you used a different source - not cause I hate 5cm or anything, and I think you did a legitimately different enough take on it - but just given the song I think it would've gone over something darker and more mature (and I particularly mean the characters). I also can't get the Fallout association out of my head, so I half-expected to see some sort of apocalyptic twist to it.

Anyway, I'm pleased, you prove yet again that your musical and editing range is way broader than people give you credit for
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Liked the 30-50s vibe you gave the entire video with not only the track but the grainy film FX, you don't see too many amvs like this so it's a breath of fresh air. Scene selection was well done, the atmosphere was seriously fitting and there was just nice touches all around it.

Ever since this anime film came out assloads after assloads after assloads after assloads of 5 Centimeters per Second romance amvs that each looked copied and pasted from the last amv before it really gave the anime an unoriginal and ugly look to me and I could hardly (or not at all) enjoy the amvs with it, but this is one of two romance amvs I've watched with this same anime that are extraordinary because both this amv and the other one really brought powerful concepts with great editing and feel completely original. Don't get me wrong when it comes to how I feel about romance amvs, I SERIOUSLY luv romance amvs. Especially those with r&b but seeing an abundance of romance amvs with the same romance anime and the same romance genre and the same editing style with no originality in concept really kills my enjoyment of the amvs with that same anime.

Anyway I'm done ramblin', boss work on this.
"Someday humankind will come to understand one another! I sincerely believe that!" Fei Fong Wong
"We live to make the impossible possible! That is our Focus!" Claire 'Lightning' Farron
"Believe in yourself, and create your own destiny. Don't fear failure." Toonami

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way.
