Re: Let's Try this again... Its Ace Attorney this time!
I think you edited this in a fantastic fashion; it went far beyond my expectations (moreso with the fact that you went ahead and put in different background to spice things up); I mean on top of that, most (if not all) of the footage in this was pure images. Its incredibly impressive to pull something as great as this off with just mostly images! I'm gonna say that my favorite moment in the GMV was when you had that segment of Godot throwing down his coffee cup and then have the coffee splattered all over the screen! Really cool!
I will say, however, that while the music was a really cool choice, its an incredibly fast piece; you varied between syncing to the fast paced moments, and then simply panning images a bit slower at other points. With this kind of song, I felt that the slower panning bits were a bit, well, too slow for the song. Its just constant allegro with this one.
I also found the ending shot with everyone on the cliff to be extremely random. I mean, the whole video's technically random (more like a tribute I guess) but like... they're all ecstatic on a cliff. It just kind of felt odd seeing that. xD
But other than that, really well-edited and a fun little GMV!

I KNEW your name seemed familiar. You made that kick=ass persona 3 alternate opening with Blood+ that has been stuck in my autoplay at work since 2010 .
This was an amazing compilation of all that is awesome with Phoenix Wright. For an alternate opening for the video game, it looked like something that I could honestly expect a video game company to develop. It was well tuned [albeit, a little weirdly paced as Eka mention, but that's generally what some normal OPs do too], and the execution of moving the still images and backgrounds was professionally done, and looked extremely natural [although I think some of the characters could have used a little fine tuning]. The ending part right before the sakura blossoms gave me shivers. XD
Well done man. I seriously want to see MOAR from you.

Wow... so much positive feedback
Glad you guys enjoyed it!
That final shot was also a mimic of the original. The original had the main characters standing at a cliff. At first I was going to do just that: the characters standing together, but thought I might as well add the signature "pointing" group shot, just to stay true to the game as much as I could
Ah Suikoden, the good ol' days of gaming XD

I know what you mean about the "fine tuning" of some of the images. I am usually keen on refining my masks, but for some reason I missed a few. When I realized there were some rough edges, the deed was already done
I agree with your note on pacing. My intent while making this was to match the original, which had this wierd flow of scenes at some parts. (panning when there are like 100 beats per second in the music! XD) I contemplated changing a few parts to be more "actiony" but at the end decided to stick with the style of the original.EkaCoralian wrote: I will say, however, that while the music was a really cool choice, its an incredibly fast piece; you varied between syncing to the fast paced moments, and then simply panning images a bit slower at other points. Wow, It's always nice to know people are enjoying my vids! Especially that Persona video. It wasn't well received but it holds a dear place in my heart, so it fills me with joy whenever I know someone likes itCodeZTM wrote:I KNEW your name seemed familiar. Quite liked this! Especially for an ALT. I have been seeing a lot of different types out there, and this one really brought out some difference.
