That was pretty enjoyable. Nothing big, but still fun. The sort of cookie cutter transition thingies weren't too good, but overall, good job.

Gah Dammnit. I have had an idea with this song for YEARS since the first time I heard it on Shrek 2. And now I see my idea better executed and with a better anime. ;_____; /heartbroken

Ok, now onto serious review stuff!

Extremely well placed scene selections. The mood of the scenes and the anime was extremely beautiful. But more importantly, you kept a great pace throughout the whole thing, keeping the flow of the music in a good taste. I hated Gurren Laggan, and this made me re-consider watching it. XD

NOW. The effects with the diagnol slashes made me a very sad person. Also, 1:58-2:15 made me nearly sob. It's the best part of the song, and I feel like you ditched the flow in lieu of effects and whatnot. ;___;

Great start, kind of a werid middle, but it pulls it all together in the end for a great ending. Although the transition from like the first part of the anime and into the very last battle was a little harsh for my tastes, although it was certainly very interesting to watch and had a fun take on the last battle.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I kind of wish the middle parts was a little bit better done, and the diagnol stuff removed, but still really enjoyable.
