- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Yes, they were purchased pretty much as they came out XD (We were ogling the Japanese copies too, but whoo boy those things were EXPENSIVE). I ran them through aviSynth too - mainly noise reduction and line darkening filters. Eizo I don't believe was a remastered copy - if I recall we just got lucky on Yahoo!Japan. ^^;

I'm dying to get my hands on the remasters and script them up, I really want to make a couple videos with this source and have for awhile now.

The ones we got weren't even the best offered there... I've see some clips from what was released in Japan... Oh lord it was beautiful. ;.; If you ever get the chance JUMP ON THOSE.

Re: Yu Yu Hakusho - Legacy
This was a very great video.
Had a great pace to it, covered multiple characters and the series as a whole, and had a great overall feeling and some great sync to it. The ending [with the multiple characters, not the actual beach scene] confused the hell out of me though. O_o
That being said, I think it could have used a little more focus on Yuske. As much as a I LOVE Genkai and would watch anything with her in it, I though her presence in the earlier segments was odd, and then the re-appearance with her battle and her in the youth was odd.
But on the whole, I loved it and would gladly recommend this to anyone.
Also makes me want to go snag these DVDs again.

I really appreciate the commentary, CodeZTM. Especially after waking up to find a 1 star quick comment in my email. Constructive criticism is much more helpful than someone telling you they were 'insulted' by your editing.
Sigh. Can't please everyone I guess.
Thanks to everyone else who might have watched and hasn't posted here, too!

Did I say this video was awesome? Because it was. Very badass tribute to team Urameshi, man. Great job.

Yes, there are a lot of people that are over-eager to shred videos and point out only flaws, but never really appreciate it for what it really is and never really try to enjoy it. I personally see what I liked about the video, and see what could be used to make it better. Then again, I'm also one of the more nicer critics out there, so I may be blowing smoke.Kira_Douji wrote:I really appreciate the commentary, CodeZTM. EDIT: To specify, I mean those kind of people that put "shitsux" and a 1 star in the QC without any sort of explaination.
