Amv collector!
Hey everyone.
I made this topic for everyone to see as in to discuss my goal and if anyone wants to partecipate.
As you all might know finding good amvs now times is really hard specially for some nations, countys or islands that don't know such sites as http://www.animemusicvideos.org but even if they do know the site its not that easy to find the best amv's out there and finding amv's also means finding animes which haven't been watched yet.
So i thought to start collecting them to one place almost everyone knows about, http://www.youtube.com/ And soon enough on my own website which will be done in about a year or so, step by step thought not in a hurry or anything.
Why i thought of all this? Simply cause it just happens that i live in such an island called cyprus which anime just started to get popular and since anime isnt popular amv is definitely not the word down here yet. (Which is really sad, i could count the comic book stores up to 5 in all of cyprus, which one of them is ant comics and you can find it in http://otakucy.com/ )
So if anyone likes the idea please comment bellow (Do not be harsh on the comments this is nothing but an idea i thought of to help out amv and anime get known in cyprus and anywhere else) and if anyone has an addition of amv's that he would want to add up please pm me your video ,personal info as in who made the video etc and what so ever info you would like to add on your video.
Note: Videos that will be add up will have all the info they need so who ever watches them knowns both who made them and where to find them so no copyrights will be harm.
Thanks for your time

Re: Amv collector!
Collecting videos on YouTube won't survive long - trust me, many of us here have gone through that.
I think spreading the word about the Org helps a bit more than what you're trying to do ;x

Re: Amv collector!
As i explained before that is just a start, or merely to get known by peepz. Starting this year my studys are finally about to start (lost 2 years of my life serving in the military) so i got delayed on my studies as a result. So thing is start up a youtube channel and in animemusicvideos since this channel is well known cant stop hearing about you guys in here ;p and finally when i get a succesful amount of peepz and videos will continue my work in a website a friend and i will make ( which i will ask then the cooperation of many sites such as otakucy.com which i mentioned before and even animemusicvideos if im really lucky!
And by making all this effort will help a great deal of spreading the word about the Org and not only wont you agree?

Re: Amv collector!
youtube is known for deleting accounts for copyright infringement - this is why it probably won't last long.

I never saw a studio made amv be deleted for copyright reasons , and if they are deleted already said that youtbe is a temporary solution.

Saw the post and am fully aware of youtubes fail, altho it is indeed copyright of the song track etc nothing we can do about it.
But not all amv's copyrights are been deleted, If you just dont add the name of the song at either the videos name or tags they wont find out about it been used. That's what i thought since ive never seen a copyright been added at anime scenes been used

Re: Amv collector!
That's not true. Companies have their people going through the stuff (for example Ghibli has pretty good results on taking down their videos) and YouTube compares every audio uploaded to their database.
Writing down tags just makes this easier for them, but even without those it's not as it won't be taken down.

Quite right - my latest video (Aniworse) got kicked the moment I ULd it - with no tags, due to music in credits. So I ULd version with no credits (or tags again) - and it was kicked right away due to music in the video. So I tried dailymotion and they took the full version. So far.
