Finnaly decided to not be lazy and release my submission to the 2011 Tekkoshocon AMV Contest. This was a finalist in the drama category. For more info read the video description. Comments appreciated.

That was quite cheerily dark, however, I feel that the song was a little bit too upbeat, I can see what you were trying to go for but it made it quite a bit of a dissonance between the audio and the footage. And those green sections felt a bit disjointed from the rest of the video, but all in all, it wasn't a bad watch.

Pretty good, but I'm going to have to agree with Ijexis on the dissonance between audio/footage. The song you used just didn't have an appropriate sound to fit what you were trying to do. I wouldn't call it upbeat, though... more sad than anything else. I think it needed to be a bit more of a complex melody for you to be able to convey the dramatic "change" to the viewer.

Liked the green backdrop portion, but the canvas you used was a little too bland. I can see you used some kind of paper texture, but I don't think it was visually interesting.

On the plus side, the combination of the music and scene selection at times works really well. It can be a pretty disturbingly dark counterpoint.
