[MEP] Witchcraft

Post by MystykAMV » Mon May 16, 2011 12:28 pm

This was premiered at the Spring MondoCon.

CilkaMilka: I enjoyed making this. The credits fail.
kazuko90: I hated editing this.
Mystyk: It was okay for me, I tried some internal syncing (I think xD), the kurokami part kinda fails, but oh well :P
Reba: (she went shopping so she can't write an opinion yet)
Zsella: (???)

Hope you enjoy :P

This is 4/5 for me, but as I wrote, you girls didn't feel this kind of music. Use shitty pop music to make cute and "csillámpóni" effects. DNB doesn't need hype!

Wow! That kicked my ass! |:>

I just watched this with the volume turned up and the lights turned off. I think the bass almost caused my head to explode. I really like the energy that this vid has.

I give it 4 out of 5 exploding heads.
Good job with the MEP you guys!

Overall, it was ok. The tracks that didn't attempt an overabundance of coloing or stock vegas effects were well paced and had good scene selection. Unnecessary flashing also kind of hampered the overall AMV.

IF I had any real quip about it, I think that the source selections was the biggest issues. None of them really meshed together to unite the AMV. For example, some were battle heavy while others chose to tell a story instead. The track transitions were also oddly placed at times.

Now with all of that being said, it wasn't a "bad" AMV by any stretch of the imagination. IT just seemed like a collaboration between too many different styles, and they seemed to clash a lot.

My favorites was the opening track, track 5, track 7 and track 8. You guys did a fantastic job matching the pace of the song and hit the right notes for maximum effect.

Thank everyone for the comments ;D

Code:

I think track8 is one of the tracks that had the most coloring, but you like it xD haha :P
Also, I think the animes were okay :P and it's also hard to compare the slow beginning part with the fast actiony part while considering the story :P

I actually really love this song- just not the way it was applied here. I think the editing styles sort of conflicted with the drum and bass nature of the song, and didn't exactly fit. I'll give this a 2/5, but I commend the effort that went into all of these tracks :)
