With Lagarith's recent speed overhauling, it and Ut are pretty much neck-and-neck on my computer. Then again, Pentium III-based Celerons can't use SSE2.Phantasmagoriat wrote:Also, try using Ut Video for editing. It's faster than both Lags or Huff. Or try to get proxy-editing to work-- not only can you retain full quality, but it also overcomes the bottleneck of disc transfer speed.

Re: Lossless codecs for REAL editors
Hmm... IDK, I got it working in Vegas the other day. Be sure you have Ut set up properly for your version of windows. "First install utvideo-8.2.0-x86.msi. Then, if you are using a 64-bit version of windows, then you should also install utvideo-8.2.0-x64.msi." I also suggest saving in YUV420 (ULY0) - [basically if it ends in "0" that's the one you want.]pan_dbgt01 wrote:I have tried UT Video.....but that doesn't play so I'm not sure how to preview it.
I also agree. yes.Otohiko wrote:Same, it always worked for me.Dr.Dinosaur wrote:I Agree
