How awesome does an anime have to be to prompt me to get a video editing program, learn how to work with it and make my first AMV? Very.
I'll admit I probably failed at making the first part interesting, but stick around for the last half and you will (hopefully) be entertained!
No flashy effects or anything, but I definitely spent weeks working with timing and picking out the best scenes.
Working with insane BPM tracks is long and challenging, but oh so rewarding. Hope you guys like it.
Edit: Wow, this vidid tag is amazing, thanks!

Re: Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Famous
you used a track from some of my favourite HHC DJs.
I will have to check this out now.
(it is very rare to find someone else that likes this music)
Edit: I liked the second part way more than the first.
However, It was quite good, this is your first video you say?
Please make more!

I find the general lack of AMVers using Happy Hardcore (or just plain electronic music) tracks saddening.
Took me days just to decide on these two tracks, and I didn't regret it. Glad you recognized Dougal and Gammer! : D

You know, I've always wanted to make a Happy Hard Core video but I genuinely find it really difficult to do without making it repetitive and boring. Perhaps that's a factor?

Re: Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Famous
You bring a good point, I believe this particular AMV worked because I used two different tracks to keep it fresh, otherwise I agree it would have felt a bit repetitive. I even had to extend " Fuck me, I'm Famous' " climax melody in order to capitalize on it since it merely lasted 40 seconds (a fatal flaw of the original track, if you ask me
) and was clearly the best part.
However, I'm sure it's entirely doable if you pick the right tracks, edit the mundane parts out and make sure your AMV follows the beat in a catchy way.

I also liked the second part much more, I didn't like the first part very much actually =(
For a first, it was definitely pretty good, looking forward to seeing more from you.

Thanks!
It was a real pain trying to find good "non-depressive or angry/evil" shots of all the characters, especially Kyouko. I guess I got lost in doing that and forgot to try to keep it interesting : P
