Prod: It started a little iffy IMO but the rest of it was pretty awesome. The ending was great.

These are my thought exactly. The last chorus with the live-performance scene gave me goosebumps!Niwa wrote:The Last Song: It's been awhile since I've seen a good Beck videoI wasn't a fan of the constant crossfades, but the feeling was there for sure.
I enjoyed it, which is rare when it comes to this sort of editing really, so great job man

As for Sunflower, I will actually watch it later on since I was planning on watching the movie first

Woo. Thanks! You're video is pretty awesomeNessephanie wrote:.
I absolutely love this video of yours, it's very well edited and the style is so perfect for Beck. Much much love for this.
(and thanks for letting me piggyback)

Definitely do it. BECK is an amazing slice of life anime. It's been my favourite since I saw it 5 years ago.OropherZero wrote:awesome drama vid, favourite of yours in a long timeProbably grab Beck and give it a second chance now.

Good job you two
I was totally nervous when I sent you the first beta >.> But totally happy when I sent you the third beta that was complete up until JUST as the climax starts. You were like "AWW MAN!" YEAAAAH.Brad wrote:You know how much I dig The Last Song. It doesn't hurt that BECK is pretty much my all-time favorite anime and you told the story that was always more interesting to me, and you worked the band footage into it in a very relevant way. The build-up and payoff was excellent. Job well done!
Do it. BECK is good times. Needs more good vids.Arashinome wrote:I really enjoyed the last song, Prod. Got me really wanting to work on my BECK video. Good stuff.
Thanks mang.NS wrote:it was just like a badass romance video. Awesome vid fer sure.
Woot. Thanks.CodeZTM wrote:Extremely well done on the Beck video prodigi.
It was something I was actually working on [although a completely different story], so I know how hard it is to find poignant scenes and tell a compelling story that doesn't involve the band, but you did a fantastic job with it. I thought it flowed extremely well together, and the music/anime just CONNECTED. One of my favorite Beck videos to date.
Orly? I always thought my drama videos were kinda lackluster >.>Mamo! wrote:@ProdProd: I always love the strong emotion you have in your videos. Was very well edited and the build-up was awesome. Nicely done, loved it![]()
Nice. That's how I wanted it to go. To kinda start out slow before slowly building up and totally hitting you in the climax.Infinity Squared wrote:Prod... good stuff. I was somewhat going "meh" during the first two-thirds of the video but changed my mind when it finally tied together with the finish.
Thanks Scott =O I've always been interested to see if you'd do a BECK video <.< you'd make it awesomePwolf wrote:Prod: It started a little iffy IMO but the rest of it was pretty awesome. The ending was great.
I totally got goosebumps when I first watched it as a final >.> Man when that climax hits I just love itZetZu wrote:These are my thought exactly. Like others have said, the last chorus is just awesome. So much intensity, I love it.
Great stuff, Cal...I guess I should go watch the anime now, hehe.
And Liz, Sunflower was sooo cute. :3 Gotta see Tangled now, looks like a good movie. So adorable, awesome job.

Cal, loved the Beck video a ton. Probably one of my faves I've seen of this series.
Liz, I will report back once I see Tangled, since I heard your vid is quite spoilerrific! However I did catch Dusti playing it on her compy, and from what I could see, it looked awesome.
