  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I didn't know this anime, so that was unusual and not boring to watch. But it was a bit too long IMHO. But your original source allows that the viewer to don't get bored.
About the editing it's more simple than you usually do (with Versus Renegade or Ciryllix Redux) but it's perfect for this kind of clip actually.

You did a good job here. But I think you could have been selected in the AkrossCon finalists if the video was shorter ;)
Actually i spend way less time to finish this than i did with Renegade and Cyrillic. It kind of was planned to be a bigger project but i was short on time due to exams as always so thats the main reason for the lack of effects. Secondary this wouldn't have worked with my usual choice of rotoscoping and motions ... some leet a/e shit surely would have improved the impression but i'm not that far by now to make sth like that look good ... also again i was short on time. About the length retrospectively you might be right but my first concept was to show a change in his life influenced by the missions and since we all know that all good things happen in threes, the parts in this video where kind of set. Surely i could have shortened the refrains or the beginning, but in general i suck with the beginnings of my amvs ... the first 20 seconds are usually the last thing i do in a video.

Anyway thanks for letting me know. Hope that my next videos will be more complete again.
