Watched, mostly cause I'm a sucker for this song and sum41 is awesome. Try advertising with a poster next time to get more interest, doesn't even have to be amazing, just relevant.

It's not, but its not great. If most of your vids are like this then your editing style is the kind I like most but it needs work.

Focus on intensity matching, emotions of the characters, and relevance to the song when it comes to scenes picked. That would be the best place I could tell you to start in my opinion. After that work on sync and if you feel like expanding your skills, FX (not necessary). 1:25+ is a perfect example of why I'm suggesting this. I'm not quite sure what you were thinking while editing this but IMO scenes of people laughing happily (very anticlimactic) to the intensity and lyrics right there just doesn't fit.
Spoiler :

This is an example of great intensity/scene choice IMO but obviously if you had different thoughts towards the song, our opinions will differ. I used a spoiler to avoid diverting attention from your vid.
Anyway its not bad for a first work really so be proud of that. Most first works are terrible, I don't mind admitting mine is.

3/5 stars :amv:
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

1 big problem is when yer live action comes in it isn't in sync, so make sure that if you're going to use clips of the band singing or the music video, that it's actually on time with the music.

Also, this video didn't really have any focus, there were a lot of random sources coming in that really served no purpose other then to be there, I think if you would have stuck to 1-3 sources and really dialed in with your scene selection this video could have been a lot stronger.

As far as sync, you have the basics down but you definately do still need to work on really matching the feel of the song, it was close for a lot of the video, but not quite there. Keep workin' on it tho.

alrite thanks for the comments. Yeah i agree some scenes were random. I suppose rather than trying to match teh song 100% of the time, my goal this time was to simply see how many different animes i could fit into a video. (sort of a test for myself). ofc though i made somewut of an effort to match themes in certain clips. i will work on it in my next video. Since i'll be using Indestructible-Disturbed (not confirmed yet), it'll be a good chance for me to work on fast action, scene selection and synching (all teh things u guys mentioned). And i kept effects to a minimum this time around since its my first time working with a program like vegas and Adobe After Effects. but im starting to get the hang of it so i'll definitly work harder on the next vid.

Thanks again for the comments. Much appreciated.
