Time Cross + Far To The Past [AKROSS Con 2010]

Four months ago I listened an old music from one of my favourite game, so I decided to make this video. I think Chrono Cross's fans enjoy it. :)

Video: Time Cross (Preview)
Category: Trailer, Instrumental
Anime: Chrono Cross (PSX)
Song: Antique Cowboy
Artist: Ragnarok Online OST
Creator: Heartilly

This video I've made for AKROSS Con 2010. There are two sides of our soul. But if good side of soul gives the chance to come back, the bad side take it away. And no matter how you try, you cannot come back... This is an idea of this AMV. I hope you'll understand what I've tried to say. Enjoy. :)

Video: Far To The Past (Preview)
Category: Character Profile, Instrumental
Anime: Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~
Song: Sunrise In Aries
Artist: God Is An Astronaut
Creator: Heartilly

I remember seeing this video while lurking around on the Akross site.

I had mixed feelings about it as I felt that film-strip lasted too long, it didn't give the source enough variety. It almost felt too static for quite a bit of the video. While it was a creative effect, it would've done better if it was more creatively integrated into the anime footage itself instead of having the footage be part of the effect.

Regardless, a pretty decent watch, it's a laid back video and amongst others was interesting at parts.

3.5/5 :awesome:

I've tried to create the inner world of human soul. So... in the most parts of video i used film-strip to show the memories of main hero. That's why I used footage as a part of the effect. :)

The idea was to show the different parts of human soul, something like that. Anyway there is a little story in the beginning and in the end, which helps to understand the main idea. :)

My initial reaction to Time Cross was "what?! A Chrono Cross amv with continuity?!" Definitely like the pretty clock thing you used to pull that off, and the different ways it's integrated into the video.

I enjoyed it, so I picked up the other vid too, and both are keepers. =D

My congrats to the author. I wanted to talk with you, and guess my wish came true. Well I like the idea in this one. Another interesting amv, and effects well used. Just a question: Software used?

I really liked the second one. You shaped the effects and multiple scenes pretty well, although I didn't like so much the shaking effect at the end of the vid.
