AMV TRAILER Asuma Tribute (NEED 1500 views ON YOUTUBE LINK!)

Getting 1.5 k views here is going to take a long time unless you make something awesome and end up on the top star scale (and end up getting main page views). Why do you need views to work on a video anyways? I don't see a reason you should rely on views to start a project, you should just do your next project because you want to, or because you are really into it. While I understand knowing that you have an audience is a great motivator, how can you gain such an audience unless you work to improve your videos?

As for the video itself, its okay for a home made trailer... I guess? I can't read the subs so it's pretty useless to me.

U.U sry 4 u, but if i could learn english (im peruvian ) people like u may have a bit of culture and have some knowledge about spanish... It sounded hard, but if u want to comment like that("its pretty useless"), firstly you have to make a couple of amvs to consider my effort :/

Mmmm, I used 12 chapters and i had to convert them into wmv cos i work in Premiere CS3(it took me around 2 days). Then, preparing the vid, i took like an afternoon. In total i took 2 days 1/2 but if you can make a same one in 3 mins good for you... But Im learning ^^ I want to make those nice amvs in youtube (contest winners, best rated, ...) and i need all the feedback to improve. So, thanks but think more what you are saying

This is probably because I've never watched (or plan to watch) Naruto, but everytime I watch this, I can't help but kill myself laughing when the dude yells 'ASUMAAAAA.'
Not that I find his death funny (Iunno 'Asuma' too well) but the yell...

Anyways, yeah. Uhm... I'd recommend getting rid of those subtitles (I couldn't understand them, so unless you made those subs yourself, which I'm sure you didn't, next time make em in English. You're speaking English now, so why should videos be any different? If you didn't make the subs, for the love of God crop them out if you're able to.)

I'm guessing this trailer was some tribute to this ASUMAAAAA guy so I'm going to say that for a tribute trailer thing, it could have been a lot better. You had a crapload of random scenes without ASUMAAAAAA and then all of a sudden you show him dying? Awright, this needs work. xD

EDIT: Looking at the title again, I see it was a tribute to a fight between like.. 4 people, or something? That's something you should take into consideration. It means that to one person (moi) the concept of the AMV was unclear. I thought it was a tribute to 1 person mainly, not 4.

Remember this announcement post of mine? My line about "if I get enough positive feedback, I'll put up part 2" was supposed to be making fun of people on other websites (such as fanfiction.net) who make similar statements. I'm guessing the OP is going for the same kind of humor.

How many is 1,5k? The k adds three zeros so it could be 15,000 views. But there's a comma there. So is it fifteen hundred views with three more zeros, a.k.a. 1,500,000 views? Or is it a typo and the comma is supposed to be a period? That would make it a more reasonable 1.5k, or 1,500. I'm typing this during a personal finance class btw.

If I remember correctly, in some parts of Europe, the comma wouldn't be a typo (they use periods as thousand separators and commas for decimal points). And the OP stated that s/he was Peruvian, which I know isn't European, but maybe they inherited the same convention.

Oh my god, NO. Besides being an unnecessary lossy conversion, there should never be a reason to convert anything to WMV of all formats. Just because Adobe Premiere can import it doesn't mean it's a good idea.
If you really can't get the footage any other way (are the DVDs out?), here is how to process it so that Adobe Premiere can handle it properly. (MKV, Matroska, and MP4 files should be handled via FFVideoSource() instead, found in the FFMPEGSource plugin.)

I never assume anyone on this board is a "professional". However I am quite used to people rejecting or ignoring my advice, so I tend to give only a little to see if the person wants more.

Sorry that I don't know Spanish. I was never forced to take a language in school, so I opted for art courses instead. I really just meant that I don't understand the language so the subtitling is useless to me, that doesn't mean that it's not useless to lots of people who do know Spanish, just for me. I also don't know Japanese well enough to translate any of the conversation. I don't know Naruto well enough to know what is going on in these scenes or who these characters are.

So for a person like me, this video comes off as fairly random. I can tell it's a trailer, but beyond that I'm not really given anything I can relate as a story, why these characters are important, or the point of the trailer.

I agree with the statements that if you were to make the actual video instead of a preview, that you would probably get more views.

Also as for technical problems Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>, it would probably help.

I was trying to point out that if you are really into something you shouldn't need so many views or feedbacks to continue doing what you like. I guess while views and feedbacks are nice, I don't think I could continue to make amvs if I relied on them like that.
