wOoo I like experiments. Definitely a neat way to incorporate internal and external sync. One drawback is you can't focus too much on a single pane, so at times it's not clear what you should be looking at. But that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on how you look at it. In some cases I would say the style overrides what's actually going on, particularly when there was lots of symmetry. This makes for good review-ability, although the music gets a little repetitive. Then again, sometimes "repetitive" can be interchanged with the word "catchy" if you're in the right mood...

Liked it already when I saw this on Akross site and yup, I still like it. I can't concentrate on all of the panes with the same intensity so I loose a bit of the AMV here and there but it doesn't spoil the whole thing.

The panes remind me of one of those rooms with lots and lots of mirrors which is slightly strange but pretty cool.
Anyway I really really liked this vid
The panes made it original and a bit different from your typical Romance video and although it's hard to concentrate on all panes at once, I thought it wasn't too difficult to do, so I had a good time watching this.

Actually, that would be cool as all hell.BasharOfTheAges wrote:So... Who wants to take 5 widescreen monitors, turn them sideways and connect them to some SLI'd video cards so see how this would look in a 180 degree horseshoe configuration?
You loved something without shinkai in it? I am astounded. Thanks.Nya-chan Production wrote:'d dis - great work, godix ;>
I tried using colors, saturation, and movement to direct the eye to which pane I wanted it to be on, but yeah, it can be rather difficult to pick up exactly what's going on in some of the spots. I think I rushed the jail breakout part too much for example. As for the song, for some reason I really like it. Even after literally months of working with it (and months of ignoring it entirely), I still like the song. I think it's the first time I've ever edited a video that required effort and I still like listening to the song after. Which is very strange since it's not exactly my favorite style of music actually.Phantasmagoriat wrote:wOoo I like experiments. Definitely a neat way to incorporate internal and external sync. Thanks. A lot of the panes are meant to be throwaway background scenes where it's perfectly fine if you miss it anyway.Cross/fade wrote:Liked it already when I saw this on Akross site and yup, I still like it. There's only so long I can think along 5 different tracks at once before I start developing multiple personality disorder. Are you trying to drive me crazy?Not edit? Me thinks you should edit more stuff like this.poster wrote:AKA why godix should not edit romance

Nice story :> I wish if they didn't die in the anime too. And cool screen concept though it made me feel dizzy trying to concentrate on those screens ^^;

Interesting from a technical point of view but this technical is clearly not my type XD
Good vid but I'm still waiting for this fucking awesome drama vid using RxJ (an equivalent of Part of You, Shadow of me for this anime would be perfect : o)
