Crimson Rhapsody (Happy early Halloween)

Mk i originally intended to release this in october given the whole "halloween" feel, but i've got other things to do and i'm tired of thinking about this one. i've worked on it on and off for almost a year. the only other vid that came close to time spent was Lord of the Anime and that was only 3 months. so if anyone has any gripes about this that's just too bad cuz i am sooooo done with this thing. i didn't even bother to hear what my last beta tester had to say before i finalized everything.

that being said, my whole point of making this video was to give the Versailles Philharmonic Quintet some exposure. here is the original music video of Prelude and Aristocrat's Symphony: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Umag0dPyW6E. You may notice that the original video is considerably longer than mine. i cut out practically 3 whole minutes of the song for your viewing pleasure. You're welcome.

This is my second video where i've spliced in live action footage, and i think this is a great improvement from Lord of the Anime.

I've also learned by making this that i really love Father Abel, he's one of my top 10 favorite anime characters, yet Trinity Blood is not. i think the series is really confusing and had a lot of potential to be amazingly epic.

oh yeah, when i exported on my computer the opening texts looked fine, but when i played it on this computer they looked all jagged. lemme know how it looks on yours :?

XD early release! YEEEESSS! <3

It's lovely. Definitely makes Trinity Blood look as awesome as it should have been.
All my favorite parts are basically everywhere there's text; I love what you did with the (original) story of Cain & Abel, it is so goth.

...And zomg that singer is gorgeous.

As for the opening text, I can't tell if it's what you'd call jagged...it looks fine to me regardless.

Captivating!
I almost never like splicing real live footage of bands with anime, however the smoothness of transitioning between the two and the way they both complimented each other just sucked me in. Such as 4:15-4:33 with the rose petals, it blended all too well.

Oh and:

Was my favorite part. So very creative

I really liked the concept here. Nice flow between the real life footage and anime footage. (yeah, I say you got better. XD)

And yes, I especially like the rose petals and the spoiler pic that was screen capped too. :P

And the words look just fine on my computer, so no worries there.

Ya know, I wasn't so crazy about this song at first. Then I watched the original music video...then I skimmed through some rough tranlslations...then I checked out their myspace--and everything on there sounds amazing.

My cd's in the mail. :awesome: I hope you're happy now.
