Very much enjoyed the 1080p version. The only thing that bugged me was the scream at the end. It just felt sloppy compared to the rest.
Overall like I said, very much enjoyed it.

really well done. As for the scream at the end, while the clip technically goes with it, i guess the audio kind of calls for more impact or something more rapid there. Really enjoyed this though. It's the best trailer I've seen all year.

Trailers ain't my thing, but for a trailer this was damn good. The anime/audio matched very well, although Blade Runner was a huge influence on the cyberpunk genre so that isn't surprising. But still, the mood/editing of the video fits the source beautifully.

Excellent. In regard to some of the previous comments - I'm glad there wasn't much lip-syncing, every trailer of this sort seems to use lip-syncing to cover lack of creativity and make it look decent in the safest possible way. And that final scream sure had an impact on me, it was beautiful.
Never was a fan of trailers and never will be, but sir, this was awesome. A++ would watch again!

First of:
I'm glad that you like this video so much. This is my best rated video up to date and this is a huge surprise. I've spent a lot of time with the project lately, so I don't have an objective opinion on the video, but I can say for sure that this is not my favourite work of mine. lol However I'm glad of it. I'm just surprised that people like this video that much
I'm happy that the most downloads are from the 1080p source. It's good to see that you apprecite it. It's also good to see that people download the 480p version to. I hopefully made a suitable version for everyone
Next: (making of avaible):
I released a making of as indirect link in the video entry. It will give you a basic comparission of all sources. You will see the original trailer, the final product and the raw editing of the video. This might be interesting for all of you who are excited about the colour correction in the video.

Thx for commenting!
Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad you like it!

That was a bit dissapointed, but I won't forget the feeling of adrenaline when I just waited for the moment to come
Thanks so far for the comments! I don't think that everybody liked it so far, I also would like to know about your personal negative aspects of the trailer. I need to know what some people dislike to make it better the next time.

Thank you for your comment! Personally I don't miss lipsync here. I prefer it over some bunch of jerky lipsync moments. I'm surprised that many people miss additional lip sync. That's fine. I'll think of places where lip sync would've been a good idea.ZetZu wrote:Woah... Best trailer I've seen in quiet a while, man. Only thing that could have made this better would be a slight increase in lip-sync.
Other than that, this was simply amazing. Stylish, fitting, well executed - great job!
I got Blade Runner (5 Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition) for only ten bucks. I doubt that this movie is widely spred in the mainstream. It wouldn't be that cheap. It's a master piece. You either love it or dislike it. I can understand both opinions on it.Niwa wrote:I was first unsure about integrating both GITS movies when I first saw the source list, but since you made such a outstanding job, I didn't really witness the difference. I'm also amazed how well the grading and the noise fits each others throughout the whole process. What can I say, this is probably one my favourite video from you to date, and this is such a Bauzi type of video while I was watching it.
I should take a look at this ''Blade Runner'' later on.
Thx for commenting!
I'll have to check out Melican's trailer! For me the vid quality isn't that sexy. The video in lossless just looks amazing too me. Sadly a pleasent encode is too big to share and I wasn't even able to play it fluently on my 2.46Ghz dual core.EvaFan wrote:Damn bauz, the vid quality was sexy as hell. Pretty good trailer, I agree with Zetzu about wanting more lipsync but it's pretty good as is anyway. Really enjoyed the fx work / overall color scheme editing you did as well.
5/5
Pretty epic trailer here but Melichan still got my vote for best trailer 2010. This is a really close second though.

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad you like it!

I really have to rethink about some places in lip sync. I doubt that there will be an alternate version, but it's a good practice for sure. It's interessting because I don't want to fuck up the character roles in the trailer and have to find fitting scenes too. That's probably not that easy.Hydra Star wrote:More lip-sync would have made it better. But really nice trailerand the most interesting thing is the 1080p.

I'm really glad that you like it with your high standards. That's a good feeling. btw. I think your GITS video is the visual sexiest GITS video on the org. rrrrr At the screaming scene I'm personaly not that much pleased with the transparency of some scenes.Niotex wrote:Very much enjoyed the 1080p version. For me it has a great impact. At the convention I stood before the crowd and looked out for some nice reactions. No one was shocked for a moment. There was no change of expression in their faceLittleAtari wrote:

Glad you like it! I saw a lot of behind the scenes material of Blade Runner and it would have been also very interessting how the movie would have been with the original script. If it would have had the same impact on the genre?godix wrote:Trailers ain't my thing, but for a trailer this was damn good. I don't think it is about covering the lack of creativity. I'm the opinion that some people don't realise that in an industry trailer you also don't show every speaking scene. You just let them speak in the background or make some t-cuts (If I remember correctly they are called t-cuts; you will know what I mean if I'mn right; lol). If you can't get a fitting scene or can't make some good lipsync than you should avoid it at all costs. Everything is better than cheesy lipsync scenes.Emotive wrote:Trailers ain't my thing, but for a trailer this was damn good.
