Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

"Wow, did someone just basically do a complete ripoff of This Time?"
"Oh, I guess it's not exactly like This Time...maybe this is Scott's?"
"No, he wouldn't have used the same band and the same anime to make such a similar video..."
"This second half is pretty cool. And that's a neato film effect."

I totally had video #33 pegged as yours. I would have been willing to bet money on it, but at least my very first thoughts were correct :P
You wouldn't be the first person to think the same thing, Liz thought it was mine also based on the source >.> I knew people might see the connection but then go "NAHHHH he wouldn't do that!" :P

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Only thing that annoyed me was Ileia mentioned "orphan frames" and there were no "unintentional" ones :P

They didn't look synched to anything.

I will say that I like it better without the middle section, but still without having the "story" explained, I don't get it. It just kinda looks like they are both upset about something...and then get kinda more upset about it at the end.

I semi-agree. The first couple of times I saw them I totally thought they were orphan frames. It wasn't until it was a little further in when the same 'orphan frame' was used that I realised you'd done it intentionally. I'm 50/50 about it. In some cases it worked in others it just seemed jarring and unnatural.

I'm also 50/50 about the video. Without the description (in Pro) I didn't get it. With the description now I'm like "oooh". You totally build up a great mood (EPIC mood even) but there's an overall lack of story telling.

it's fine, as mentioned before, the editing wasn't refined enough to begin with.
