Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

As this competition comes to an end, we should take a moment to remember those who have fallen before us.

I make the same request as Ileia:

Please leave me a rating on a scale of 1 to 10. :O
This is part of this round. >_>

You made it way before the deadline! *downloads nao*

Edit: Ah, Soukyuu no Fafner was actually one of the first anime I'd ever seen (and seen in its entirety, even!) so just watching this made me remember the sadness of it all (and kept me from any possible spoilage) which I think the video captured quite well. Good job! I'm not sure if other entrants can vote, but if so I give you √88 :D

You aren't the survivor who should feel guilty. :O

I really enjoyed the mood you built in this one. The "tomorrow never came" scene was particularly striking. I was a little confused about some of the chronology (his friends are walking with him when he says they're "dead and gone"?), and the almost-lip-sync at "the dawn" put me off a little, but overall it held up to the song well.

9/10

PS - Why does the bumper say August 2008? Are you pushing old videos on us?

*facepalm* Because I've been typing dates from 2008 all week at work, and didn't notice my fingers following muscle memory. I'll upload a fixed copy after the deadline.

I liked it. A couple parts that looked choopy me to me and some flow issues though. Nice concept and execution, good emotional feel. I mainly enhoyed the last minute of it. It seems like it could just have more to it though. 8/10 Good. Idk if my vote even counts though.

Code posted and said that they did. So, yes, Lantis, you still get the square root of 88 out of me :3
