Took me about a week to complete. I was kind of on and off working on it along with talking to people on msn.

Thanks to Code for the excellent test of my video. Without him i probably wouldn't have fixed a couple of things or might have even scrapped the video completely D:

I was mostly inspired by Nostromo and Koopiskeva's styles when i made this so thanks to them for being awesome. :awesome:

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

Gotta say, I was really excited seeing the beta for this, and I like the way it turned out in the end.

*Flow/editing was actually pretty well done. The story comes across fairly nicely and as somebody that hasn't seen the anime, I was able to quickly pick it up and understand everything going on. I liked the combination between the "dark world" and the "light world" and the transitioning between them.

*Conceptually pretty nice. I haven't seen much like it, and I've seen like a million youtube videos with this thing in the last week, and this one seems to tell it fairly well. [/needs to watch this anime apparently, since every editor under the youtube sun is hitting it up]

*Video quality is as good as one could hope for.

*Flicker at :23 was still kind of off, but much improved upon. The flicker effect overall was still much improved upon, but I'm still on the fence about it.

*I feel that towards the end there were some wonky shaking and scenes a tad too long . I also think the colored in backgrounds instead of the white ones, while a ton better than what you originally had, could still have had actual anime footage there and had some better feel to it.

*I was kind of sad about its length. I'd have much more preferred a little more length and more character development, but as is, it's still fairly well done in a condensed manner.

*To be honest, I couldn't really see the koop or nostromo in this, and I think that's a good thing. It's important to develop your own unique style in editing, and while using another as a base and finding your own direction is fine, make sure and retain your individuality.

Generally, very enjoyable. I think you've found your niche' in editing. Glad to see improvements, and can't wait to see it develop further.

4.75/5.00

When the video first started, I thought to myself. "Why are people making AMVs with both sides of this? The two sides don't even seem like they are from the same show". But after a few seconds, I started to notice that your AMV actually makes more sense than the actual anime. You did a really good job at switching between the two sides of the show and portraying an understandable story. (oh and, when I say "the two sides of the show", I mean the normal high school parts and the supernatural fighting parts).

Also, the effects and especially the "star transitions" were absolutely perfect. You really edited this well. I give it a 4.5 / 5

p.s. Since I've actually seen the show, I feel that there really wasn't much more that you could have done with this AMV. You did a awesome job at using such a limited amount of source to produce a great AMV.

I think the effect with the skinnier lines bugged me, and i think you could've slowed down your editing a little for the most part, but it wasn't bad.
