Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Though that can probably be attributed to OtakuGray's defensiveness.

Look at it this way: there's nowhere to go but up from here!
I apoligize for responding the way i did and you're right. I can only go higher.

Actually, what kinda made me feel terrible wasnt taite's response initially but actually the fact that nobody was looking at it positively. My normal followers on youtube LAUGHED at this. I didnt want that reaction, i wanted people to be angry or sad because i was killing characters from a show that has none of that horror/murder style theme. :| Apparently that was ...not a good idea. Understand that i didnt go for quality, i was more focused on the idea and getting it from my head to my computer sceen. It isnt easy making scenes out of nothing and i did the best i could with what i had...

Sorry for those who didnt enjoy this amv, i know its many of you.
Thanks to those who did enjoy it, and those who stood up for me.

you have no life and you're obsessed and an elitist and expect everyone to be perfect (even though ur post says otherwise) and you're a meanie-face to boot :x
Thanks a lot to Gote. Means a lot to know someone on here is interested in more than just flaming/trolling me.

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

I think he was trolling you.

Edit: As for the quality I'm sure you had avi's at least when editing those, maybe mkv's for the quality problem you should have just made it 480p rather than 720p and rendering an avi is not that hard and it's worth learning it.

I'm gonna rate this guy really low for not getting the reaction he wanted. :asd:

I know encoding, thanks though. Personally, i just wanted the vid out there and wasn't caring about the render settings and quality of my footage. I just wanted that idea out of my head as fast as possible lol Also, when i script any clip...my pc will overheat and turn off. I'm working on finding a good paying job so i can get a more decent full blown computer with actual editing in mind.

This laptop was originally bought just to play Spore

did you understand that with this you've contradicted yourself, didn't you? If I read correctly you said that you put your best efforts in making this video, or not? I'm saying somethig stupid?
whatever, I quite liked the idea but the way you've realized it is really poor... it's normal that people think that you didn't put enough effort in making it.

sorry for my bad english

Everyone is overreacting. Video wasn't that great but the vast majority of reactions were exaggerated. The video had something fresh on a conceptual level. It's just that execution lacked thus demeaning the actual concept. Just try working on the execution a little more next time, so people take the concept more serious.

This. And if I may advice you - if you have an idea which you want to get rid of as fast as possible - just skip it. It's not worth it if you aren't going to dedicate your time to it...

Just because i wanted the idea out there doesnt mean i didnt put any effort into the video. I actually did take 3-4 days to work on this and as i said, its not easy to make clannad into a murder anime. Ive already admitted that i didnt have quality in mind when making it and it was mostly the idea and pulling that off that was my main focus. My effort went into the idea and making it come to life.
