I think the pace of the video was somewhat slower than the pace of the music. And EvaFan, why the blood was yellow? I'm far from great at telling bad concepts from good, but they what, have liquid shit in their veins instead of blood? Killed the mood for me, sorry.

Re: Kenshin's Salvation
I actually picked yellow for its symbolism and when it's bright or faded it mixed well with the grayscale for the scenes of the past, red just didn't fit too me. I tried a faded/dark red but it just seemed out of place on grayscale footage so I went with dark/faded yellow after reading its symbolism traits. I figured it wouldn't look good to everyone though. As for pace, not sure. A few areas I could agree with this. Sorry you didn't like it.Aggressor wrote:I think the pace of the video was somewhat slower than the pace of the music. If you meant me then no, but magic markers might haveKnowname wrote:He likes his colorsprobly ate too many crayons as a kid... does nasty things to your head.

Yeah it might have something to do with how annoying it was getting all the sources the same AR, size, and in good quality so there are few vids using the movies. Glad to hear you liked itS.A. Robert wrote:Have not seen a good clip on this source, I liked it.

EDIT: Just noticed the opinion, Thanks alot! I'd return the OP but you don't have any vids here, unless you got some on amvnews. Feel free to PM me a link to one if you want.

Re: Kenshin's Salvation
I never knew there was so many sources of Kenshin.
Anyway, I though this was REALLY well done, and well composed together, and had a really approrpiate flow, and did a great job of showing somebody that's only seen maybe 3 episodes of the show what this guy is really made of.
I'm on the fence about the coloring effects, and the zooms we kind of iffy.
But still pretty dang awesome.

Re: Kenshin's Salvation
Thx for comments guys glad you liked it.
Just a quick explanation of what I found on the interwebs about it though for some understanding:
Bright vivid yellows are associated with joy/energy/bliss/positive future hence the part with her being bright yellow (not to mention it draws attention when mixed with dark colors)
Dark/muddy/murky yellows have the opposite effect and bring out emotions of anger/depression/anxiety/caution/pessimistic future
Obviously this is all skeptical stuff just based on what some people felt like writing on the interwebs but I decided to give it a try. I can't remember the webpage I used as a source though. I did that searching months ago.
It's cool, so far the comments for it has been 50/50 maybe I should have messed with the colors more before giving in to the yellows though the interwebs effected that decision. I can see both sides, I liked it for its effects on the video for emotions but after reading aggressors comments I found myself seeing why it bothered him so I'm not really sure about it anymore either.Code wrote:I'm on the fence about the coloring effects
