Really good for a first amv, I was surprised.
It wasn't just a bunch of long clips slapped on a timeline. This fight is very intense, but you added a sense of creepiness to it, which was good.
I can tell you put a lot of consideration into where you put the clips, like :53. :53 to 1:10 was actually my favorite part of the video. Good scene selection. Instead of random action scenes during the slow parts, you actually made the clips fit. However, at 1:11, you repeated a clip, which is, to me, disrupting. The clip actually fit the lyrics, but I would have saved that clip for just that part, instead of using it earlier on. At 2:44, there was a blank spot, so it looked kind of funny. I like how you ended it, because then the viewer knows "well, he died."
There are some things you should be aware of right now though. Downloading clips isn't really good. Not only does it decrease the quality of your clips (notice the subtitles and the logo on the top right of the clips? It's not really pleasing to the eye), but it's illegal, and the org usually encourages that you buy the dvds and rip them for editing.
Seeing as how you're new to this, I wouldn't worry so much about quality right now, but later on when you have more experience, you're going to notice that more and more people are going to tell you to improve the quality of your clips, etc. There is a guide available on the org that teaches most everything you need to know about video and audio quality, ripping dvds, etc. For right now, I say you don't need to worry about it. Just focus on your editing. If you worry about that now, it's going to ruin all of the fun. But later on, reading this guide and improving the quality of your video will make it a lot more enjoyable for the viewer.
Good start, keep with what you're doing.

uhoh, this doesn't spell good for me lol.Taite wrote:Really good for a first amv
Anyway (other than the direct/ indirect link that I'm sure will be covered) I thought this video suffered from conceptual mistakes mostly OR it had a bad amount of missed beats. 2/ 5... but if you'd like me to treat you like a noob 3/ 5 lol.
I mean you could take this video 2 ways, either as a drama video depicting a great warrior's struggle

Specifically I felt a bit of a 'WWE entrance music' vibe there... but dude, it really went weird after that :/ I mean if it's an entrance-type song shouldn't the camera be JUST on the one main guy?? Doing similar poses but, like I said, 1 fight is just such a small amount to use for your amv ^_^ Next time try to EXPAND your idea to MORE fights, perhapse even if they're the wrong fights, portion of them COULD be used to tell the story YOU want to tell. By sticking to one fight it makes your amv JUST a rerun of that fight. I know it's the big thing on youtube

K well I didn't get much further than that. I know how this thing goes, I seen the series. Try a little harder next time 2/ 5

Lot's of basics mistakes ;p I saw only few moments with some kind of synchronization ;p For a first amv... hmm average that's all ;p there are a lot of people that made their first amv pretty good ;p
Learn, work, learn, work etc. etc. ;p and you will probably do a good amv some day
2/5

Re: Ichigo vs ulquiorra ~ so sick
considering he didn't find this site until AFTER he made this video... I hope to see mass improvement next time
But w/e... the org is obviously at a much different lvl of dedication than most streaming sites so I'm glad you don't take all the criticism too harshly lol.
