Saito's The Man
Alright not an Original idea by any means being its been done before, but i did notice that nobody had done one with Zero No Tsukaima so i tried my hand at it.
the quality isn't great since i used all downloaded footage cause i don't own any of it on dvd.
I ran into a few technical difficulties during rendering that i was unable to fix which - at a couple points the video just continually shutters for a few seconds killing the sync at parts totally off.
it's Mostly Lip Synced with a few parts not but hopefully its still enjoyable
anyways - i hope this one gets better received then my last video...as technically i have been working on this one for over a year.... being i just stopped working on it at one point and then just decided to start working on it again.
anyways hope you enjoy!

Re: Saito's The Man
Getting it now.
/Orphan at :02-:03. :09-:10, The screen moves or gets bigger or something that shouldn't be there. :12-:13, if you take the chance to look at his mouth, it flickers back and forth... :14 is really weird with the two girls going back and forth like that. :17 is the same as :12-:13 in the mouth regard. :31-:32, is that an Orphan or just a glitch? :39-:40 the screen gets bigger again (I'll stop saying this because I see it's happening all over the place). :52, the shaking looks really weird, is that from the footage or is it just a mistake? 1:00-1:01 the lips are flickering again. 1:22-1:23, more mouth flickering, well in this case, more like chin. 1:36-1:39, you tried to get rid of the subtitles but failed, they are still there. 1:48-1:54, more Orphan flickering.
How to fix all these problems, have somebody BETA your stuff. I'd be more than happy to, most people will if you ask. I can see the concept you went for, and some of the lip sync was pretty good, but all these problems overshadow most of the good. This deserves a remake. Just go over all the problems I said and re-release it.

Re: Saito's The Man
FIrst of all, much improved upon visual quality.
Bad:
1) Sometimes the lips [when supposed to be closed] were flickering between shut and open [same with the very last scene]. If you want to make sure they keep shut, just use a frame hold.
2) Turn off flame blending.
3) Some stray frames here and there.
4) You can crop off the top and bottom black borders for the best effect. Better yet, Zero No Tsukiama is best viewed in 848x480.
Good:
1) That was actually really cute! Cute concept.
2) The concept was well executed, especially when you have Saito being "the man" and then you're letting lousie kick his ass shortly thereafter.
3) Acceptable visual quality.

Re: Saito's The Man
The concept was surprisingly good in this
and the audio/video fit quite nicely, which is more than I can say for a lot of other videos out there.
It still suffers from the same types of problems as some of your other work: Distractions
(Just to interject, problems like orphan frames, lip flap etc won't happen if you use lossless footage like HUFFYUV.avi because that way editing can be truly frame-accurate.)
but putting that aside I had a nice chuckle

Yes i am aware of the flickering problems and i did notice the screen kinda getting bigger but not by much - but as for the flickering while in sony vegas and previewing.. everything seemed fine - it was after rendering that all the flickering came in and not really sure how to fix that XD. i didn't see any subtitles at all .. but meh..
anyways thats for the comment and if i can think of any more good ideas anytime soon and need a beta i will be sure to ask you

thanks to all other comments too - and i apologize for blowing up like i did with my last video annoucement -but the first comment just kinda threw me over the edge.
anyways when i get another idea i will make sure to get it beta tested before just reelasing it

Re: Saito's The Man
Awesome idea, great concept, and definitely worth watching. The execution was a bit lacking, but this was still enjoyable.
And on a side note, i think that I know why there are stutters in your video. Did you crop out one or two "non moving" frames and then try to repeat them? Doing this tends to open the door for problems that can't be seen until you render your video. Slowing down each one of the "non moving" frames by about 50% should actually fix the problem. But depending on your editing program, there are better ways to do this.

Re: Saito's The Man
Good concept!
Most the stuff I would have said is already pointed out(mainly technical problems you can fix no problem) but I'd just like to say well done on finishing this because I really enjoyed it!
