Yeah, I'd like to know how my entries did too. Even though they weren't effects heavy, I honestly did think I stood a decent chance of getting in.Niotex wrote:I'll be honest I'm a little disappointed that I didn't make the cut. If possible I'd like to ask some of the judges [if possible] for feedback on the video at least. Considering the amount of work that went into it I'd like to know what exactly I've been doing wrong.

PM me with a downloadable link to your vid and I'll give opinions privately, but I emphasize (as I have many times) that mine are the opinions of just one judge. There's vids that I loved that my cohorts did not, and vice versa.Niotex wrote:If possible I'd like to ask some of the judges [if possible] for feedback on the video at least. That offer is good to any other entrant whose vid is NOT in the finalists this year. I won't pull punches either, so whatever I say doesn't go outside of PM.
Edit: Aaaaaand my PM mailbox is exploding...

Re: Anime Expo 2010 Anime Music Video Contest Rules Up
Well nice to see things being resolved for the most part.
ANd yea i'm satisfied with the withdraw, i felt as most people did that at least something needed to be done. Just hope the editor works on making a edited vid that deserves to get into the finals. Glad to see rider get in and hope that next year i'll get in.
I do feel sorry for the staff and will again say that next year if you want i'll help lessen the load that the amv contest is.
