Are you going to wear a needlessly extravegant suit like Chairman Kaga?

Because that would make it the most awsome event ever.

Just to give everyone a heads up, the available seating for this will be rather small (250 people, tops). So get there early!

Yes, that's a very small number of seats, but it was a conscious decision. The powers-that-be were, in fact, VERY kind in trying to find the best possible venue space, and in fact we even had an opportunity to get a venue that would've been second only to the Nokia. However, the choice came down to either having a good timeslot in a small room, or a crappy timeslot in an epicly awesome room that we might not even fill since we're a new event.

Brad and I agreed that since things are being kinda rushed and since this is the first year (and prone to n00b glitches), it's best to keep things small and flexible. This is being looked upon as a trial-run, the results of which will determine if/how an IC can be run next year.

Also, it was the programming coordinators who inquired to me and Brad if event could be done, not the other way around. So if you see one of them around, tell them "thank you" for this opportunity. :)

As for the timeslot, Brad and I have a good idea what it will be, but we're waiting for official word before we announce.

Sadly, I won't be present at the event because I have other obligations, but Brad's at the helm. Nuff' said. 8-)

Friday has no amv related events, so maybe that would be a good time to host it.

I'd prefer better slot than room as well. Especiallys ince we are on a trial event the goal woudl be to get as many people interested as possible in order to gain interest to hopefully have more priority for the following year.

I would love to, but I don't have any terribly extravagant suits. Maybe next year.

I will, however, take an extravagant bite from a bell pepper (perhaps a daikon radish).

Since I didn't make the amv contest, I only plan on going for one day. I really do want to see this event, so any updates on when and where it's taking place will definitely be appreciated ASAP before I buy my pass.

It's looking like it's 5pm Saturday and will go until 9pm. The AMV reshowing is on the same day.

It won't conflict with the AMV reshowing (which was adjusted a bit so it won't conflict), but it will conflict with part of AX Idol and Masquerade. Normally that'd bother me, but since there's so few seats, it doesn't in this case. Either way, get there early.

I didn't enter Masquerade this year, so I'll be able to attend.
