Old member, New AMV (Escaflowne - New Divide)

Howdy, been a member since '03 and I'm just now getting back into making AMVs in my free time. I spent the past couple days creating this video to warm up my editing skills. The video is of the Escaflowne movie and features "New Divide" by Linkin Park. Hey, at least I didn't make a Dragonball Z Linkin Park video :D

Pretty good for a warm up. The black flashes got really really annoying though, used it way too much. And at some points, when the song built back to the climaxing "Give me Reason" chorus, I felt some of the scenes were too weak and didn't have enough well... "umph," for lack of a better term right now.

Nice video, but I think that maybe you should've used more scenes/clips.

My favorite part was 2:50-3:00 lol. (=

Yeah usually I like random action videos, but this time I made it simple and tried to generate a theme and tell a story with it. And yeah I love drums so I tend to over do it with my flashes :D
