Edit: This was one of the drama finalists at Acen and won the Judge's Choice award at Anime North.

I gotta admit I've literally seen every kind of Akira video there is which kind of makes me a little "meh" on Akira videos, but I really enjoyed beta-ing this one.

It's an Akira video without the obligatory Tetsuo killing everyone and growing all large scenes (oops spoilers

)

Spoilers to the few editors who hasn't watched one of the oldest and most popular/influential anime films of all time LOL, seriously though those large scenes mind-fucked me so bad when I first watched the movie at age 6. Kudos to those that didn't get mind-fucked and a warning to those that hasn't seen this film yet.

Anyway fantastic amv all around mane, it offered qualities different from the usual Akira amvs I've seen in it's concept and hope it goes a long way at the cons

heh. That didn't take long.

Anyhow, if you haven't seen it, you should. Akira was the first anime I ever owned; back when it was the Streamline/Orion dub.

Well... That was odd. But in a good way that made me actually watch it all the way through out of curiosity and desire to see where it went. It's always a good thing when videos make me pay attention.

Overall, pretty nice work. Akira's on my "anime I don't like" list, but the video itself really didn't require a desire to know Akira, and instead created a story all its own for those that wanted it to be there.
