Yeah no offense I didn't enjoy very much, and wasn't what I expected, you had some sync and pace at some parts I suppose.
But I didn't like the quick crossfades you were using, and really all it was after the first minute was constant fighting with some sync here and there, but it just got boring after awhile..., I felt like I was seeing the same thing over and over.
Again good try.

Well it was my intent for it to be just punches to metal music, So I did succeed if that makes any sense. But I think only fans of this Anime will like the Amv. Ippo videos on the org and on youtube are usually my favorite videos I get to watch. I think that's because each video has some great alterations of Ippo's character to fit their personal editing style.
However, this video didn't have any of that. It was a bland action video. The thing about action videos is that they can be completely mindless, but still have a small kernal of a story behind them. This video was pure action with [as you stated] every fight in Ippo. But without context, it's just a bunch of sweaty men punching each other with some action music behind them.
Sometimes, however, action videos can get away without context or story. But that involves some crazy-ass amazing sync with beats and utilization of unique styles of editing to almost make it a highlight or a character profile in the form of an action video. This video didn't have the right sync. I'm a huge fan of cross fading, but it really just didn't belong in this video, and it broke up the flow some.
Before I end, let me just say that when the lyrical chorus hits and the action sequences are there, it wasn't bad. I was getting in the groove a little when it was necessary. This song has areas where some context and story could be filled in with, and it was just more action in those areas. But during the chorus, when action was necessary, it wasn't overly bad [just in need of fine tuning].
