Then your viewers don't understand that the upscale to 720p not only makes the aspect ratio wrong and adds unneeded filesize, but it also does absolutely
nothing else. If I have MPlayer set the aspect ratio to 16:9 and fullscreen the 640x480, it will be exactly the same as the 720p version. You can't just add resolution and increase quality. And given the introduction of jaggies, the quality was actually worse, probably.
And as for your request I'll start doing the changes for it and upload it sometime tomorrow. As for the credits at the beginning and at the end I'll take them away only from the 640x480 version, some viewers I know like my beginning credits and others who don't know the animes I use on amvs find out what they are when I add them in like that EVEN when they're in plain view here on the org so I'll leave them in on the 1280x720 version.
My issue is with the mishmash of stuff at the beginning. All different styles, all different aspect ratios, all different qualities... It's too much. A simple bumper that says "DNZN Studios" followed by the title of the video before going into the main video is good. The MTV credits are a personal gripe, and also due to how cons work. You can have a list of anime at the end.
Now the intro where I begin the amv I'm going to leave intact for the org so it'll go with my concept of the entire video but I'll upload a version without it for you somewhere else with the other changes you wanted intact.
I expected that. You have a concept and it is part of your concept. I was just letting you know that as much as I love the locket Moonlight Densetsu, I could not watch an entire video of it. And so I had no forewarning of how long that would take, and so I almost shut it off. You do not have to make me own version, unless you really really want to. Unnecessary, but very nice.
That was really the best way to tell me how to do what needed to be done and glad you enjoyed the main part of this amv and felt the concept. And I'll get a request to change my audio sources soon, I'm gonna have to do that for all my amvs and been wanting to but I've been too busy and lazy to do so.
The AMV itself was good, and once I can actually get a copy where I can focus on the AMV instead of being distracted, I will come back and give you more detailed feedback on your actual editing. I'm also glad you didn't get offended at my brusque tone. I really did like the actual AMV.
But I am serious. Stop putting out 720p that isn't
natively 720p. Explain to your viewers that it doesn't help, and that they will NOT have a better visual experience. It just doesn't help.
