Congraturation. Will check out later.

EDIT: I don't know. Something felt off for me when watching this. It was a bit too random while having a bit of a bland techno background that clashed with the speed. I didn't start to feel the heart of it until around 4.5 minutes in, which is way too slow for my tastes.

3/5 for effort.
Thanks!
Now I get to be in the book of AMV records! lol
Sorry it took to long for you to get into it
I tried to follow the pace of the song and build up as the song got faster.

Kosmit wrote:422 animes in one AMV? Have you gone totally mad?
I watched it mainly out of curiousity (too see how all the different animes mathc) and it wasn't bad, but it didn't grab me by the balls either. Fun to view once or twice but nothing beyond that.
Thanks for checking it out =)
sorry that it couldn't grab your balls
It was pretty crazy working with so many sources and it took over an hour to list them all O.O

~MimS~ wrote:._.

It should have been a pretty long work to find all sources.
Anyway, I believe that the multi screen and 3D parts were bad ideas. Maybe it's just a matter of taste.
In any case, that's pretty well edited, I just regret some animes really don't mix well with others.

Congrats!
Thanks, Mims!
Yeah the multi screen probably wasn't the best choice
I like that part but i wasn't completly sure about it
3D? you are talking about the video game footage right?

Thaks, hasteroth
I'm glad you liked it ^_^

Cxeisse wrote:The editing was very nice, but the concept wasn't interesting to enough to warrant the length. It's remarkable that you managed to make it all fit together despite the level of variety in the sources. 4/5
Wha?
How can you loose interest in lots of girls dancing, fighting and blowing stuff up?! lol
Thanks for watching!
somedude67 wrote:What an impressive list of Anime girls! Its a shame that the two characters from Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran did not make it into the AMV (Ran and Lady Meow of the Iron Cat Fist) or Lum from Urusei Yatsura. With that said it still is a great list of anime girls from all types of anime.
somedude67 wrote:Oops, the AMV does have Lum.
Sorry i couldn't get that anime in this.
Sometime later on if I do another anime girl video (there is a VERY good chance of it), I'll be sure to include that one.
I'm glad you enjoyed watching the video ^_^
Hagaren Viper wrote:I couldn't really get into ti until about 4 minutes in myself, but that last couple of minutes kept me very much entertained.

The first four...I dunno, it didn't seem to have much direction. I know the point is to show as many girls as possible, but there really needed to be some kind of theme aside from that as well. Though I'll give you props- this is one of the few videos that uses the 'Anime girl' theme pretty well.

But...all that anime and no Pokemon?!
Well, there is something that looks like a pikachu around 3:54 ^_^
Sorry you couldn't really get into till later on too.
Thanks for checking it out.

Sorry for those that thougt it was too random or didn't have enough theame to it.
That the was the way I intended it to be edited.
I konw thats probably a turn off to some viewers but Its just more
fun for me to edit these kind of videos that way.

Im surprised no one ask how come Suzumiya or Lucky Star wasn't in this yet
Those seem to be pretty popular in anime girl tributes these days. =)

I'll probably get the original version that was seen at Tekkoshocon up too since the ending and a few other scenes or differen't from this video.

Challenge!: Can anyone spot where outlaw star is used in this video?
Its in there but you need a real good eye to spot it :D

You know, at first I was a little bit apprehensive it being an all girly NOT testosterone filled girl-fest :< BUT then I straightened up mostly cuz I don't believe I've seen this combination of strength and beauty before (not all pink and sparkly yet not all kickass and showy either)! :p 3/ 5 mostly cuz it was not my thing, but it was interesting!

wow. That's a lot to take in at once.
Mindless that there is.
But through the thick of it all, it had some pretty awesome moments

Hm, I guess to revise/expand upon what I said earlier, I think my problem with this vid is there doesn't really seem to by any buildup to me. The first few minutes is edited almost as fast as the last two, though the beginning parts of the music is actually slower. Does that make sense? Maybe in the beginning, there could have been more 'Getting ready to fight' etc. type scenes instead of jumping straight into the action - give the last few minutes that much more impact.

Also, a few scenes in the beginning threw me off. "Action action action - SWIMMING! - Action action action -BASEBALL! - Action action - FISHING!" They kinda threw off the vibe you were setting up just a tad.

I really hope that was coherent >>

I thought the Magical Transformation montage was kinda cool though - the background videos almost made things overwhelming, but it was still pretty neat.

Thanks EkaCoralian, gotegenks, ~MimS~, Knowname, Phantasmagoriat and Hagaren Viper
I appreciate all your comments on this
and also thanks to anyone that left QCs on it! :pizza: :pizza:

Yeah, I know what you mean, Hagaren about just jumping into action.
The 'Getting ready to fight' idea sounds like a cool way to start it off.
I might use that idea ina future video.

Sorry if the game scenes looked kinda out of place
I just couldn't resist putting some in that part and I thougt it would be a cool
change of pace for that section.

What a nice overload. At first I had a hard time getting into it, but it really took off with the second half, which also had to do with the music getting much more awesome. I'd also second the suggestion of making certain areas of the video more themed, even if that would've further stretched the insane amount of effort you probably put into looking for scenes.

Another qualm I have with this is it being 4:3. Really, I can't think of a single anime from the last 5 years which was in 4:3. You used lots of older stuff there, but I'd rather see that cropped than having borders on all four sides of my screen for the 16:9 scenes :(

Still, I really liked it, and will be watched often.
