okay, this is just a self-indulging sentimental piece of shit i cooked up last weekend THAT IS PROBLY MY FAVORITE VIDEO EVER, but i can see how people would hate it i guess...

i might have done an overhaul like a few suggested except there was a rock-solid concept that i didn't wanna dismiss and XESIBOI'S BDAY IS TODAY (ending in 7 minutes here in New Mexico)

So basically the idea behind this was that FLCL is the real life and NGE is what's going on inside, how he percieves shit, fantasies, you know, the psyche of the main character (Naota/Shinji) over this girl (Mamimi/Asuka). Canti represents the cool in the main character, the alter ego, Haruko (and i guess Rei) characterize life, and the hardship and joy of it all. IDK if i'm missing anything...in the end the real world ESPLODEZ because the main character is brave enough...i guess... HE GETS OVER the girl and embraces life. I think it leaves him and he's like "fudge..."

so it's the tale of the main character's perception of a relationship with a girl who's important to him,

i'm sort of proud of myself because there's only 1 lyric in this entire thing that doesn't have a purposeful clip that i can successfully back it up with.

I liked it man. Flow was great, effects were used well. Not much else to say. The song reminds me of the Chili Peppers xD

Ahhh i watched it . From the First transition to NGE i liked the video alot .
But in whole this whole video is a mess . It is a big maybe of something which could of been amazing . I say this so , because in the FLCL parts ; sync seemed so forced then all of a sudden it came to the parts where you could feel what was going on and that was quickly thrown away with uneeded that and this . Sorry but the first draft in my opinion was the best .
And remember this is only a part of my opinion .
I saw some nice sparks of creativity and feel pop out and i loved those bits and i wanted to see more of that consistant throughout the rest of the video . But i was let down .
Meh thats my thoughts man .
