Nope. I was born and raised in Illinois, and no one else in my family has any kind of distinguishable accent. It's a bizarre speech impediment that makes me sound English. Well, either that, or accents are genetic, because I have English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry way far back in the bloodline.

I don't have a microphone. I sound like a little kid, not high pitched though. Thankfully, I don't have any accent from Ohio..even though 90% of my family says things like:

warsh = wash
crik = creek
feesh = fish
mez-a-well = may as well
