Anyways, this is my AMV entry for Anime North 2010 (Open Category.) I'll be submitting it soon.

I tried slimming down the size so that I could put it up for preview here, but nothing I did made it go under 100 MB (other than converting it to .flv, but then the AR was all messed up, and I then decided that it wasn't worth the trouble.) So I'm sorry that I couldn't upload it the org way this time.
The file takes awhile to load. Read manga for 5 minutes or something while you wait. ^^;;

EDIT: The video was so-so for me, the editing was good but it seemed to get random sometimes with the scene choices.

Yeah... ^^;; 'Couldn't find any other way to slim it down while keeping the AR and quality. Sorry about that.

Edit: The beginning was very nice, you set the mood just right with some good scenes - transitions weren't bad either. But some effects later on killed the atmosphere. I'm sure you would do just fine with less effects. Masking is hard and boring but it needs some polishing. Also, the quality is unstable - depending on the serie/movie you used- sometimes it suddenly drops and its noticeable.

Thanks very much, Cross. =) Yeah, some of the footage I had wasn't the best in comparison to other footage I had (DVDFab wasn't working when I tried ripping a bunch of movies, unfortunately. =\)

Overall, I liked the video. You did a good job keeping up with the fast pace of the music, although I think you might have overdid the strobe flashes. To be honest though, my favourite part of the AMV was actually the beginning portion of the video. I thought you did a really good job matching the scenes with the slow, ambient music. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing more videos like that.
