Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I haven't announced anything in about a year, but I figured this was cute enough to announce and share here. I'm not used to doing "cute" sorts of things, so I hope there are some who'll enjoy it.
Also, Woo Hoo, first mp4 for me. XD
Still getting the hang of this script stuff. I still don't think it looks as nice as I've seen other vids. Oh well, never give up and all that XD.

As somebody from the south, the lack of country music AMV's saddens me, and I was really happy watching the betas of this sucker, can't wait to watch the full one! :awesome:

Oh yes. I knew when watching the early betas that you'd hit the mood of the song perfectly, and the final product was no exception..

I'll be obviously biased because I love the song, but I'll be honest and say that I've never really ever liked Air. But this was ADORABLE! What's best is that the video sort of painted a new picture of Air, if not a completely different story all together. In fact, people don't even have to have ever seen Air to get the story/concept behind this one, which is hard to accomplish in AMV's.

But then again, your strongest asset [or at least in my opinion] is your ability to tell a creative story with anime and not be shackled down by the anime's original storyline. :D

So concept, editing and sync were all top notch.. That being said, the obvious issue is still visual quality. There were black borders on both sides, and Air is best viewed in 16:9, but that being said, you definitely improved in the visual quality department from your past videos. :D So while I COULD complain about it, the visual quality wasn't distracting to the overall enjoyment of the video, so I can't complain too much. :D

Oh, and the part with Benji the Dog? I vote that the CUTEST part of any AMV I've seen in 4 years. xD

4.5/5 easily. And definitely my new favorite work from you [Knocked "Ouran Not Pretending" off it's high horse FINALLY xD].

[Also, I need to get my butt to work on a country video as soon as I finish the SFIV MEP. XD]

Thanks so much Code XD
Yeah, visual quality is just grrrrrrr for me. I'm still plugging away at it though.
And I'm kinda sad that it knocked Not Pretending out of it's place though. I'm still crazy proud of that one.
And yes, you do need to work on a country vid. Hopefully one that won't horribly mess with my head by being a depressing Fruits Basket. Srsly, you're killing me with those. XD

yay its released

-watches-

Well I pretty much agree with Code on this one. Also this will most likely be one of the very few videos using a country song not only will I keep but really like. It was nice to see a cute Air video over drama ones. Shows that their series has its moments that are non-depressive :D

However the fact its the wrong AR bugs me....sorry

all in all a 4/5

Good Job Amo ^^

Yeah, I'm still monkeying around with stuff to try and get the correct AR. I figure I can either re-up it or have another link for it. Trust me, no one is more frustrated about that than I am. I have my strengths and weaknesses and filtering and post production whatever is definitely mine XD

Thank you! XD. And your guess is as good as mine . . . I kinda like it though. I'm hoping it'll last a while.
