Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'm sorry, this just doesn't top .

Though I must admit, the dancing Fuko part was enjoyable and perhaps the closest thing to the oddly fun aspect of the other video. I'd love to see a full video based off of that segment. Otherwise, godix troll aside, meh...

Kenzichu, for a blind completely inexperienced editor this was really well done. You put a lot of effort into releasing it and some of the tracks were actually pretty good.

Just a tip for next time if there is one(also, it helps to have somewhere to have everyone upload their tracks for you and file the links so that if tracks get lost you still have them somewhere as a back up. When godix posts he wants to join just ignore his trolling. ^^'

Oh yeah, and even if some of the replies in here have been rather critical and un-constructive just remember the most important part is that you had fun running this. Don't let anyone's comments discourage you otherwise. As long as you have the will and you're enjoying what you're doing keep at it. Hope to see more videos/another MEP from you in the future.

oh thank you very much bladedude! i hope that HyperUltraBliss gets revived, i'd be delighted if that happened. Some comments are like "it sucked" and stuff, it's kinda interesting to see what ppl had to say about it. This MEP suffered greatly but it made a pretty damn gewd recovery considering my inexperience and vision, and technical problems with lynits computer. I now know what it takes to be a MEP coordinator, and you know what? I enjoy it more than anything in the world! It awakens a side of me that no one outside the org has ever seen. Coordinating this thought me to not be afraid to say that something needs work, it thought me to be a leader instead of hiding behind the other followers. I think the most importent thing i learned is to work together instead of trying to do all the work myself, basically to put my faith in other people to get something done.
I intend to coordinate and edit my heart out until the very end!
Thank you for your kind, uplifting words!

I enjoyed this. It wasn't amazing, but it doesn't seem like something that was aiming to be amazing anyway. It seems like a MEP that you guys just had fun with, and you know, that's cool too. ;)

The things that bug me about this project is that there isn't really a consistent mood, some tracks aim to be more serious and scary, while some go for a humorous approach. But I can't complain too much about that since I enjoyed a number of tracks in both categories. Also, the audio seems to skip in a few places, so Im guessing you used the individual wavs/audio from the tracks instead of the actual mix. next time, you should definitely use the full mix instead of the split tracks.

Favorites of mine were Clannad, Ouran and Setzubo Sensei tracks.

Also, Kenzichu, I'm glad you enjoyed your time coordinating! Doesnt seem like many people can say that lately

YES! Isn't that what editing is all about? It's a hobby! YOu do it to have fun! It's like dancing! Even if you suck at dancing, if you enjoy it you keep doing it!

It's not like you're getting paid to make AMVs lol. If you were then of course it'd need to be good ^_^;;.

Video: Michael Jackson Thiller Tribute MEP (Preview)
ORG entry does say "Thiller" instead of "Thriller" though, so your statement is moot...
