[AMV] Eternity

Post by 0ur14573 » Tue Jan 12, 2010 8:00 pm

My biggest project, uptodate :P
I spend a good time on this haha hope it turns out very good
The video basically speaks for itself, watch carefully, understand the story and enjoy :D
I was planning on entering akross 2010 with this but i guess its too early, so if anyone knows a major amv contest that i could possibly join, just pm me :D

STORY:

Yes, there is one, i will explain shortly, try figuring it out by the video, i thought its pretty obvious, hmm...
Firstly, we start 160million years B.C, when dinosaurs existed, peacefully as nature intended species to live. Next we visit 10k BC, arrival of the human species, bringing conflicts, wars, torture, hunting...After that, i show the years mixing up, arriving at 3280, where human extinction is at its peak. Artificial intelligence manufacturing, violence, crimes, havoc etc (watch the scenes in the video :D) only to arrive at the end of the world, bringing with it human extinction basically. After that, there is rebirth, allowing for a second chance, showing peace, prosperity, nature, love.. At the end, there is a scene with two different sides, kinda like twoface from batman, which i wanted to represent some sort of balance between good and bad, but i dont think many of u will think that deeply :S

I love this vid, and i hope that my comment will make people watch this vid!
This is easily the best first video in ALL time!

Even though i know youve edited abit some at the tube, this is your first release here on the org!
And i welcome you, and i would love to see more from you in the future!

This vid is great sir! 5/5

My only concern is the quality of the video, there are allot better ways to encode! But you will fix that the next time! ;)

This is good, very good. I like the atmosphere, the way in which it was expressed. I haven't other words for it, it's simply fantastic, really.

lol, well
comparing this to the ending from "The fountain" made it a bit less ..satisfying
BUT ITS NOT YOUR FAULT. i mean that fucking scene is legend
loved most of the effects and it was overall enjoyable

As soon as I saw what music you have used I immediately watched it! This composition is ingenious! As for the video - there's far too much I want to say to just fit here, so I'm gonna write a full opinion, later, when I'll have time. But overall - it's good, I liked it.

Just one thing about the music. I suppose you used music either from Alexboy's "In Aeternum" or Maniaki's "Mostri". Well, the artist is actually Clint Mansell. Kronos Quartet and Mogwai are just playing it, they didn't write the composition. So I guess credits go Mansell. And also: in those two AMVs I mentioned, there are two compositions by Mansell. One is "Finish it" and the other is named "Death is the Road to Awe". Alexboy mixed those two songs. So you should write it, I think.
