People watch videos for different reasons. Likewise, people make videos for different reasons. For some makers and viewers, there's no meeting point, no way to reconcile motives - so? That doesn't actually mean anything.
As for Naruto videos, one of the big reasons there are so many of these around is that there is always an audience for them. Just that this audience is in a minority among community-savvy editors - which says nothing whatsoever about the desirability of Naruto videos in general.
Short version: don't listen to the man behind the curtain if you want to make Naruto videos. You may have trouble getting feedback here and from this particular community, but there is an audience out there for you. On the other hand, as was already said, make it good and it will make people here more receptive, whatever the source.
