I like Cascada so I was kinda disappointed when I saw this.It just didn't have any impact.I'm not saying that you have to be effect-whorish for this kind of music but it kinda felt...bland,like there was no flavour :\ I couldn't really detect any romance for the most part which is really, something I expected to be strong in Cascada's music. Some of the sources just didn't fit.But overall I suppose it was acceptable.

That being said I did enjoy the Tsubasa track by Kazemon and the Air track by Neverend  Vivaldi's track was pretty nice too. Hagaren's Digimon track was okay as well.

I'll give this MEP a 3/5

Ok, Jesus Christ what the fuck did I just watch? I expected this mep to be bad, but not THAT bad. To start off, the music was god awful and I really don't know how there are people out there that can enjoy listening to this garbage, let alone editing it. The majority of the tracks looked the same, mediocre quality, shitty editing that doesn't work with this type of music, and pretty unfitting source selections. It all felt like mediocre garbage I've seen done a shitload of times by now, and done a lot better at that. The only tracks that were worth watching were Kit's, Vivaldi's, and Hagaran's, so kudos to you guys for making something half decent in this sea of mediocrity, it ALMOST made downloading this mep worth it....almost. Even then though, Vivaldi's track is just more of the same bullshit, and kit's tracks are annoying, but at least he went for comedy instead of LOLLOOKGUISERMOANCEDRAMA bullshit. Hagaran, imo your track was the best in the mep. As a whole, this mep just leaves you feeling annoyed and aggravated, it's 10 editors with nothing to say and nothing of worth to contribute.

tl:dr
Moar like casgaydathon.

3/10 for having 4 standable tracks.

In all honesty, people, you all need to lighten up.

It's a fan made project, the editors edited to it as what they saw fit. We had fun. Isn't that what an AMV or MEP for that matter is all about? If you were expecting something classy. cheesy and effecty, go watch Ayumix, since FX are the only things you guys seem to like nowadays. Most of us were lyric syncing, unless you guys never heard the lyrics, most of the lyrics is OMGDRAMA. Not everyone can be Koop or Chii. If you guys wanted to see how it should be edited, then go edit it yourself. We're all very proud to see this project complete, and if you have nothing else to say that no one else already said, then just please don't bother posting at all. Everyone has different taste, and it's obvious this MEP does not suit most of your tastes. That is all.

AimoAio: Thanks, glad you liked the Tsubasa one. =3

In all honesty, you need to realize that when people post an amv, or a mep for that matter, people are going to post their thoughts on a video they've watched, be it positive or negative. Instead of complaining about that, you should do the mature thing and take the positive with the negative and learn from it.

See the funny thing is... There was absolutely nothing to learn from your post. Just sayin...

Kaze I would take what those guys say with a grain of salt, I think everyone does. They seem to think they are the new elitests on the block or something.

Has anyone else noticed Reda likes to DL "Nostromo" vids and bash them for being "Nostromo" vids instead of just you know... Not downloading them? Maybe because he likes to complain about them over and over again, I don't know. Then again some of his post actually had merit this time which was kind of shocking.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Lol. Good point Eva. Still though. I agree with Kazemon15 on this one. It was a MEP we did for fun. I'm happy to see this completed. Despite all the "OMGDRAMA" goin on during the course of the MEP, I had fun. Simple as that. I do take the positive with the negative, but as Eva so bluntly pointed out Arashinome, there was nothing in that post that warranted too much attention. There IS a difference between bashing a video and "GIVING" crit. Calling something "The same old Garbage that's been done time and time again" isn't really constructive criticism. This wasn't meant to be an effectsy MEP from the get go. Was never intended to be another Ayumix or Elysium. If those are the type of MEP's and editing that you like, then good on ya. But don't go bashing someone elses MEP just for the sole gratification of doing so.......why do you do it? Berate others? Is it to fulfill your little elitist complex that seems to be the transient way of thinking here on the org nowadays? To make you feel like a man/woman? To full-fill your ego?

Seriously......an AMV is meant to be enjoyed. No matter who it is made by.

Out.

I rember the good old days .

When there where no effects in any videos just stright cuts and fades. And story telling.

The AMVs you saw when you where young.

This is a good AMV/MEP look at others that have come out this is not the worst mopre is it the best. but its good.

It was fun to make, I now know shitloads more than i use to. I can do shitloads more than i use to.

The credits where only made 3 weeks befor the relice and i lernt how to do all the 3D work in after effects in 24 hours and the 2 weeks later come out with the final of the credits. also All the transitions for the tracks apart from 4 where done only hours befor the relice. I had only done masking / rotoscopeing once befor and it did not come out well but i lurned from it and now for 3 of the transitions ther are major masking effects for.

Every body did a great job with this mep some parts are better than others. but each to there own. wver part has a heart in ther somewhere . The music is not to everyones taist. ( being in England i have to listen to at least 1 cascada track a day on tv or radio.)

I had thaught about making a video to one for the track on my own but then i saw this MEP and applyed, it was one of the best things i had done.
From what i lerned making this mep and the friends i have made.

so to everyone who watches this MEP.

Remeber this We have spent over a year on this mep we have put our hearts into it. It may be an old style of editing for most of us but its our styal of editing.

Out.
They're just giving their honest opinion on it. What makes it that much worse than all the comments in this same thread that say this was nice, okay or at least watchable? These had nothing useful to say either, opinions are opinions, and since the good ones can be posted the bad ones SHOULD be posted also. Because when there are 100 comments saying a video is good and you just go "hell, this sounds good, let's watch it" and it turns out to be complete shit, why not give your 50 cents on it and say that you disliked it despite the fact everyone else liked it? Even if there's no "constructive criticism" in that, there's nothing constructive in the 100 comments that said it was good either..

So basically...you're screwed if you copy Nostromo or any other editor that is considered "great" and you're screwed if you don't copy them because anything you make is trash anyway. That basically sounds what you're saying.

And as for the negativity, I knew some people would not like it, but what's the point in people posting the same "it sucks" in so many different ways that the message was clear from the first 10 or so posts to begin with? We get it, you didn't like it, it sucks. But we all edited to how we thought it should, in our own style.

What I would like to know (no offense to you, TC), is why people even watch an editors' amv or mep, if they don't like his/her editing style to begin with? Are you all so bored, you decide to bash someone just because? Or..do you have that slight hope that this editor, who keeps trying his/her best, will actually get better? Please clear this up for me... because I've seen so many times when TC releases an AMV, the same people watch it, and the same comments are made about every single one of his released amvs/meps.
