No, seriously, the video was great. The scenes fit really well together, and the overall atmosphere was there and "BAM" worthy.

I think that's the problem with most people these days. Unless the video is just x amount of visually appealing, they disregard it without a second glance. Makes me think of movies. "Oh, Beauty and the Beast was such a horrible movie on VHS, but the DVD version of it was a timeless classic...". We don't say that in real life, and I'm sick of hearing it on the internet.

That was actually pretty asm for a ff8 vid idea cause usually the shortness in source material gets in the way. Only thing that bothered me was the sword slashing sound at 0:47, didn't feel right with the upward swing scene (maybe my player was off, IDK). Would of worked better with the sword slide over the ground scene that was before it IMO.

Original trailer > this. in every aspect. When you're using the music from a trailer on a magnitude like this, be sure to justify it. I watched yours once, then I deleted it and watched the original COTT trailer in 1080p another 4 times.
It's not just unlucky editing. Using such uninteresting footage is what really brought it down.
