At the 2009 contest, over half the entries were from local editors (be they haoles or not, I can't say, however

). Regardless, we do not discriminate - local or mainlander, anime or not, we take them all!

Primary computer decided to quit on me a couple of weeks ago (not totally unexpected, since it was acting up a bit for a few weeks prior), so I'm using my laptop for now. Work has got me busy lately so I've only recently ordered parts for a new rig. But until they arrive and I can recover and move my old data, I'm at a standstill. Oh, and RightStuf still hasn't sent the final DVDs I need.

February is gonna be more hectic than I expected initially...

hmm, it always seems to be that way, don't it, Willen - my main computer had a minor crash a week ago too and I was in panic mode as well. I hope that everything turns out for you well dude - I'd hate not to see another awesome video entered by you due to a 'technical' error. Let me know how it goes, and I'll keep my fingers crossed...

And to everyone else, a little more than 5 weeks left until the February deadline - keep those entries coming in!

darn, just lost a judge...

but then on a good note, gained an entrant!

and although the deadline is midnight February 28th, it's really the next morning as I won't be checking it at midnight... and I can wake up rather late, too

oh, and yes, for the other thing, as much time as you need, as long as I get it a week before the actual convention, you're good
