Re: somethings missing...
The drug store I used to work for actually purchansed their xmas merchandise in February and recieved it in May usually. They then put half of the gift type stuff up in July, the other half after Halloween, and then the standard xmas stuff up sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving, with most of the Thanksgiving stuff being taken off the shelves on Black Friday and the rest of the xmas crap going up that weekend.
Not to mention the xmas village crap was out all year anyway.

The US should just celebrate Thanksgiving at the same time as Canada, or maybe keep it on a Thursday, but moved up earlier in the year. Then we'll have nearly 2 months of Xmas sales starting right after Halloween.
Or maybe not.

We should combine all of the holidays into one giant Superholiday. Maybe make all of August one long celebration and leave the other months to be boring, since right now August's only holiday is the Internet's birthday, and hardly anyone actually celebrates that.

And we all just show up to the pirate island that I'm going to buy out in the swamp down here in FL and drink ale, listen to Brad spin the tracks, and fuck aligators for sport. I remember us discussing this, in detail, in #amv.
