Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hey SarahtheBoring,

Yeah, generally "right-click->Save as..." works. You just have to make sure your current attempt is at least 60 seconds after your last attempt.

So basically, the idea for the local download is that it will download videos when you click on "save as...", but it won't work when you try to download it with a download accelerator like GetRight. Am I correct?

Serv-u has a function much like what Phade is describing, you can ban people for a given time for connecting more than once in a few seconds etc. (of course phade's sounds a little more precise than the 'general' serv-u setting)

Morons on modems still try to dap me (I allow two connections from each ip) ... funny stuff...

As usual, nicely done Phade!

Yes, speed is nice and fast. 150+kb/sec for me! I love DSL.

OK, good :) I got about 102K at the start, but it's ticking down slowly - still quite fast so far.

Finally, I shall see Material Girl...

It's going along nicely for me. Nice how you banned off download accelerators. (I got the .php document a few times due to the habit of using Getright... )

It's going well. Hopefully the Local option will become available to everyone before too long.
