not bad
I thought it could have used more of a build-up... like progressively getting more horrific... but I guess you would need a longer song for that :P

Basically, it's a video that is based around a single, very simple trick. But it works so well in terms of messing with your head a little that nothing else is necessary. Really an exercise in minimalism that is the basis of horror that is actually scary.

Good job and congrats on the win, possibly my favourite video to this source (until your next one >__>).

Well I like the feeling of insanity it gives off... That was really the only thing I enjoyed about it sorry. The horror in it is kinda weak too other then that insanity feeling I got IMO. If all it took to bring horror into the picture was madness and bloodshed then horror wouldn't be horror anymore. IMO Horror is the unexpected, weird, or unexplainable. Things like what you did in this video are just assisting elements. Well regardless I still enjoyed it to an extent.

4/5
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Eh, I loved the look of the source (I need to watch that anime), liked the music but seriously disliked this video.

The quick cuts totally disrupted the flow as well as the overall feel of the video. I'm talking about most of the normal cuts here, but I want to especially point out those quick few-frame scenes you inserted here and there - these were very badly done and placed. This would have been much better with slower scene-swapping, more and longer transitions and generally no rush to show all the cool scenes of that part of the anime (which looked like what you were trying to do at times).

About the concept, the whole thing seemed like it just wanted to build up to something, but ended before it even started progressing on it. Girl kills people, then girl almost kills boy. Now if this video had some high artistic value of some other kind that could be acceptable, but the mood-thing really didn't work out (had something to do with the lots of inappropriate sudden cuts).. So it ended up pretty uninteresting from that aspect too.

Also, is the scene at 00:22 trying to show that he's fantasizing her even as she approaches, or?... Because that's all I could get from it, it seemed to be the most unrelated scene in the video.

I liked it.

Perhaps the first knife stab could have happened a little further into the video.

The tapping worked really well to disconcert. The quick flashes of frames didn't bother me.
