Otaku Vengeance: Blue Stahli & Spriggan

Post by DarkXPower » Fri Oct 02, 2009 5:50 am

Spriggan is one of my favorite animes, and I have a short 40 second video in OV SPECIAL 1, but I always wanted to do something more with it. When I heard this song, it clicked instantly, and when I started editing, it came together smoothly because of how fluid this anime is. The song doesn't have any Vocals, its just a 2 minute Industrial Rock/Metal/Techno jumble of noise, and it sounds awesome. Also, I did the best I could with the quality, its good, but not perfect, since I didn't have a DVD source to work from.

I do enjoy Spriggan...

/gets

Edit:

Fucking fantastic video. My only complain is that you had some frame blending going on throughout most of it. Fantastic editing tho, really enjoyed it.

I am shopping this weekend for an HDTV. I currently have an 11 year old 52' projection TV that I am using as my Gaming/PC 'Monitor'...I tried exporting a copy of the video without all the frame blending selected, and I couldn't really see a difference, but your not the first to complain about it...so I duno if its my eyes, or my TV, but I will find out once I get that new HD setup. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it.

Good Stuff!

I hope my OP offsets the harsh first one you received, at least a little bit.

My video with the same song was a Finalist at NYAF |: (should really upload it.)

Liked your video quite a bit. You get a cookie.
I don't edit. Usually.
