Hey hey, guys...!
I'm Cross Tails (or just Cross, or Hikari, or "Hey, you there" is fine) and it's my very good pleasure to meet you! I'm a 22 years old japanese descendant from Brazil, graduating in Digital Design.
I'm new in this community and would like to apologize if I don't get the procedures correctly but, I here introduce two AMVs I produced:
This one features three original songs I put together on GarageBand.
And this one may contain spoilers for those who haven't watched the anime yet.
Thank you very much for your attention!

Hey,
well done
The timing and feel of skyproject was very nice.
Did you compose the piano part yourself? You say garageband, so I first assumed you'd just use the built-in loops, but the music seemed too good for that to be true. Either way, nice job on the songs
I liked the haruhi one personally, but I tend to stay away from haruhi vids, so im no authority on how "fresh" it is. I get the feeling that the band scenes are used a lot, but I think you handled it better than most people do? Someone else will be able to comment on this more convincingly.
good job and welcome

Hey! First, thank you very very much for your critique! I used the built-in loops but also changed the timing and overall precision of the midi notes, as well as some overdubbing to achieve the results I were looking for.SJCorrectet wrote: Did you compose the piano part yourself? Alright. Yeah, I'm on Windows running Ableton Live, so I don't have the intimate knowledge of all garageband loops. A lot of mac people do, though, and they'll call you out if you're not careful. haha.CrossTails wrote:Hey! First, thank you very very much for your critique! I used to use ACID loops a lot, though, so I will testify for the potential of creativity when using loops to make music.

Yeah, I don't think there is any sort of demerit in using loops.
Especially in softwares such as GarageBand that allows you to change pretty much everything within them from tempo to tone.
I also use a Line6 interface to input directly onto GarageBand but, I wanted to use piano and I play guitar so, the loops did just fine...
