The World Ends Without You (TWEWY AMV from DS game)

This is a bit belated as far as announcements go, but the video has wrapped (or is about to conclude) its contest run, so I might as well share a link to the digital version for the benefit of any fellow a-m-v.org creators/enthusiasts who may be interested in the JRPG The World Ends with You/It's a Wonderful World (Japanese title) or curious to see an AMV made from a DS game.

Simply as a fan of the game (I had Mr. H as my avatar here for what, a year?) but don't make me list the ways my love for it runs deep.

Okay, 100% on everything, own some (not all) replica pins, cosplayed as Kariya (with an Uzuki +generic reaper) even played (and came the closest to winning! nobody won) a mock "run around the con getting text messages going on quests" version called "The Con Ends with You". So yeah.

This was fucking AMAZING. *applauds*

God Damn this was awesome. When I was downloading the file, I was thinking, how in the world can you possibly make a good amv with TWEWY? Its a awesome game, but seeing an amv of it seemed pretty outrageous at first. But when I started to play the file, I was like, Oh......so that's how you do it.

I give this amv 5/5 stars. You did a awesome job at making a DS game amv look truly amazing. You did an even better job at putting such an awesome storyline in a 3 minute amv. I just can't praise thus amv quite enough LOL

Oh and, this amv made me realize something very important.

Despite the fact that the concept of "trust you partner" was a pretty big part of the overall storyline, all 3 of Neku's partners were his enemy at some point in the game. First, Beat joined the reapers and fought against Neku at least 3 times. Then, Shiki got put under mind control and teamed up with Megumi to fight Neku on the last day of the last week. And of course, Joshua has been Neku's enemy from the start, and successfully killed him........TWICE.

I'm so thrilled to find out that another fan of the game enjoyed my attempt at a TWEWY AMV, and I wish I had could have seen your cosplay group at that con!

Wow, I never knew TWEWY was so AMVable! This was surprisingly well done, and the quality is much better than I expect from a DS game (How in the world did you get your footage?) Makes me really want to go out and finally get the game. Definately sharing this one.

Holy crap, getting this after I finish the game (I'm pretty close to the end, thankfully). Love everything about the game, this better be good.
